This is my first review, most of my friends write reviews I use Yelp more & more before I make a reservation or for any business so I thought I might as well become a yelper which I do find Yelp helpful.

I took a new girlfriend to Cin Cin my first time at this restaurant I must say I really enjoyed every moment of our dining experience & I am not easily impressed.

I called to make a reservation the hostess was very friendly & helpful in giving me driving directions.

We arrived & we were seated within 5-10 min of our reservation time by a very friendly owner which was impressive he greeted us which I do not think an owner has ever introduced himself to me before at any other restaurant showed me he is dedicated to his business.

Wow, the food is amazing such interesting flavors each bite got better & better our cocktails were made to perfection.  A perfect dining experience my new date thought also guess what we have had several dates so our first experience at Cin Cin was that good where she wanted to go on another date with me.  She said I did great in picking this restaurant for our first date so of course I had to join Yelp & Yelp about it.

Essentially, when a restaurant understands the importance of good food and attention to detail they become like this place. I'm consistently impressed with Cin Cin.

Atmosphere: excellent! No loud obnoxious background music, and just the right amount of lighting. Great place for intimate dinner or after work drink.

Food: I'm convinced Cin Cin provides an alter for God to speak to us through food. The sobe noodle wraps quite possibly are the active ingredient in crack cocaine, and the mushroom empanadas are masterful. They also had duck tostadas that convinced me Monet was reincarnated as a chef working in their kitchen, but sadly these were taken off the menu. I'm still waiting to hear back from the attorney general on this decision!

Service: Excellent. Their staff is attentive and knowledable about the menu. They don't do every thing perfect, but they handle their mistakes with grace and a great sense of urgency.

You can never go wrong eating here.

Atmosphere: very cozy and intimate, perfect for a date night!
    Drinks: super yummy, great cocktails
    Food: DELICIOUS!
Wine: I'm not a big wine drinker, but from the people in my group, they like the wine selection

    I've had:
Wild Mushroom Empanadas - EVERYONE MUST GET THIS!
Soba Noodle Salad - I loved it, it was a little bit messy to eat if you can shove the whole thing in your mouth lol
Cin-Cin Diner Sliders - really good sliders
    Korean Tacos - SO GOOD!
Truffle Fries - never get tired of it!

We enjoy Cin-Cin. Stay with the simple foods, as some of the stuff (like Pasta) can get really, really heavy. But the simple things rule, and happy hour is a great value!  The wine menu is great, and overall it is a great place down a small alley in Los Gatos....

Excellent Food. Always a good vibe and not for the place if you want a quiet dinner. The mushroom empanadas are my go to dish here as well as the ahi dish. I would highly recommend Cin Cin.

Wine drinkers will love Cin-Cin. If the excellent wine list is not good enough a reason for a visit, the "Monday Wine Stimulus" (all bottles half off) will surely convert you into a devoted follower.

Kitchen food is on par with the quality of their wines. Menu is small but fairly diverse. Most dishes are designed to be shared. Think of it as Spanish tapas style. It is not bad of a place for some nibbles even if you are not a wine drinker.

My only complaint is the noise. It is really difficult to have a conversation with anyone seated across from you. Had it not been the case, Cin-Cin would have been an amazing place to hang out with friends.

My personal favorite in LG... we go here all the time.  The sliders are to-die for (topped with cheese fondue and house-made chow??!!) and I find the gluten-free lettuce wrapped version just as satisfying which is great for when I want to skip the carbs.  The pork belly, charcuteries, and short ribs are great too. I also love the casual ambiance... the food and ambiance are casual and homey with upscale touches.

I went here on a whim one very very hot evening. It was the day before the holiday so all of Los Gatos was packed. Luckily we were able to sneak some seats at the bar.

We were there at 730 and they ran out of the croquettes everyone was raving about. That was a bit of a bummer but we actually had the chance to get the truffle fries. My food-partner-in-crime really enjoyed the fries. I myself, a true devotee to fries, (They're basically the only thing i ever crave. It beings me comfort in times of stress... and also my undoing in diets) thought there were weird stale ones. Maybe they're too overcooked for my liking?

I had been craving Risotto for a while and got the mushroom risotto dish. There was some serious mushrooms going on. It was topped off with a TON of dried mushrooms!

We got the tacos as well. It was sort of a let down. The meat was just not what I hoped for. I was really looking for that Korean flavor punch but it was completely missing.

Afterwards, we were still pretty hungry so we got the sliders which were easily the best part of the meal. The bread that the sliders were had a twinge of sweetness that really complemented the beef. The side... uh... i guess would be best described as under developed kimchi. I wasn't a fan of the pairing.

We both got drinks: Strawberry fields (forever) - not bad, def a fruity girly drink with a bit of a kick and canadian mountie - a bit stonger. It's probably the bourbon!
We wanted to order the orange dream but sadly they ran out of an ingredient as well. Again... this is at 730!!! Smack dab in the middle of dinner. I was waiting for them to tell me "3 strikes we're out... of everything!"

Overall i think the bar server was really kind although she was too busy. despite that, the staff made sure our water glass was full!

This is mine and my girlfriends favorite place to eat and have a good drink. It's best to go during happy hour on a less busy day. The wine is great! I recommend the St. Peters Old English ale for non wine drinkers, it's one of my favorites. As for the food, you find yourself eating it slowly because it's so good. The soba noodle wraps, liver crostini, and pork sliders are our go-to choices. We don't go as often as we'd like, because our total tends to run around $70 even during happy hour. But, for the right occasions we LOVE it.

Seeing how my boyfriend Desmond T. wrote an essay about our experience there, I'll write a short and sweet version for those who want it straight to the point. ;)

Made a reservation for 5pm a couple days ahead. Love the homey ambiance. Our server was very attentive and nice. But once the restaurant got busy...she often forgot about our table. It took awhile to flag her down to get plates taken away, our check, water etc. I don't blame her. The place was packed. But she was very helpful with pairings and recommendations.

Things are generally a tad pricey. Bottom line, go for happy hour.

    Things to order:
    Truffle french fries
chicken liver: super gamey, but i loved it
    pork sliders
    mushroom empanadas: bomb.
the bubbly flight: i enjoyed this paired with anything kind of heavy. cuts the oil and heavy flavors
braised pork belly: if you are a fan of pork belly, you gotta try this

    Could do without:
calamari: we got it for free, but it was average. sauce was interesting. not sure if i was a fan or not
hamachi crudo: super fresh, light, i just wish there was a way to get ALL the flavor in one bite. There were so many elements of flavor, i didn't find out about the apple jelly until most of the fish was gone...
braised beef short rib: cooked 48hrs, super tender, but wayyy too rich and heavy imo.

Will definitely come back for happy hour! :)

I'm lovin' Downtown Las Gatos. Tons of great restaurants in the area and this place is definitely one of them. Happy hour is where it's at! Monday-Saturday? Sick!!! Only available 4-6 pm so get here quick!.

The gf wanted to try this place out for her belated birthday dinner with a food lovin' crowd. We got here around 5 pm on a Saturday and luckily there wasn't that many people here. I really like the vibe of this place. It's really cozy, more so on the semi-casual ambiance. Our server Christina was all smiles, extremely patient, friendly, and gave us detailed recommendations in terms of alcoholic pairing. However, she kind of forgot about us for a bit until we had to flag her down.

Happy hour consists of majority of their appetizers and a selection of wine and cocktails. Appetizers range up to $3 - $8 while alcoholic drinks by the glass range from $4-$8We kinda went all out with the majority of the items on the happy hour menu and a couple others on their regular menu:

    --------------------------------------------
    * = good
    ** = amazing

    HAPPY HOUR:

    * Truffled French Fries: amaziiing truffle flavor. Very deep and earth like good ol' truffle is supposed to taste like. Deeeelicious. A good starter.

    * Sherry Chicken Liver Crostini: strong flavor. Smother that bad boy like peanut butter and you're good to go. The crostini has a nice little crunch. They also give you more crostini if you run out. I enjoyed it.

    * Carolina Style Pork Sliders: one order comes with 2, so we got 2 orders so we all get one. Very flavorful pulled pork, with a nice soft and lightly toasted bun. Great smokey, juicy flavor.

** Wild Mushroom Empanadas: the moment I bit into this, I got really quiet. It's the kind of thing where you just get lost in the overwhelming flavor and taste of the food. This was one of those moments... The empanadas were completely stuffed with mushrooms and flavor. It was not greasy one bit. Nice and light crispy exterior, smooth, creamy, earthy interior. This is a must have.

Crispy Calamari: this was on the house because they made extra. Thanks for the hook up! Not the best crispy calamari I've ever had but I ain't complaining. Good crispiness, doesn't taste soggy like most places. Comes with a sesame chili kochu-jang sauce which adds a nice little spice and sweetness to it, but I wouldn't order it again.

Cin-Cin Manhattan: the bourbon was definitely strong. It was well made, but I didn't particularly enjoy it too much.

    REGULAR MENU:

** Braised Pork Belly & Egg: omg this was SO GOOOOOOD. The pork belly was extremely tender and fatty, melts in your mouth and filled with great flavor. It was paired perfectly with a creamy and runny 62° egg and light crunch from the apples and potato hash. This is a MUST HAVE. Portion size is pretty small.

Hamachi Crudo: nice presentation. It has a nice and sweet, vinegary taste. The hamachi was fresh. It is important not to get your hopes up expecting it to be like sushi. This is completely different. This was not bad, but not great either.

Braised Beef Short Rib: I believe the beef is marinated and soaked somewhere around 24-48 hours [I forgot the exact number]. That being said, the meat is really really tender. Great flavor, but the dish was defeated and overwhelmed by the overly creamed kale. I won't get this again.

    --------------------------------------------

Food was great and service was okay. Because it is a tapas place, happy hour is the best time to go. Smaller portions, but you definitely get a chance to try a little bit of everything. Prices are a bit up there even if you do go for happy hour.

Bonus: They have reward perks which you accumulate 'x' points/money spent and you get some rewards. They only require a phone number for the membership. It will definitely take a while to get there. Nice thing is that you can have your friends use the number to rack up the points to speed up the process!

Tried one of their wine flights - it was amazingly good.  Best of all, even though the wines weren't Standard Hackneyed Old War Horses, I could find the ones I liked best at Bevmo.  Presto, a few new favorites!

I came here with some friends for a dress up dinner hangout, looking for a sit down place with good food!  I found out upon walking into Cin-Cin that it is Michelin star recommended, which is awesome.  I love checking out up and coming restaurants.

The service was a little bit slow, prices were a bit high, and it took us awhile to get seated, but everyone was so accommodating and friendly in trying to squeeze my party of 5 in without a reservation that we forgot ourselves entirely and just had a good time.  We all loved the food that we ordered, especially the sampler appetizer plate that we got.

MMM!!! Love me some Cin-Cin Happy Hour!

The prices are still a bit high during happy hour, but fair for how much the plates normally cost! They even offer happy hour on Saturdays. Weekend win!

We had the deviled eggs, mushroom empanadas, & the soba noodle salad. The deviled eggs were good, but nothing unique to this place. The mushroom empanadas were delicious! Fried, but not too oily, crispy crust & filled with cheesy earthy mushroom goodness. The soba noodle salad was surprisingly good and unique! It had lightly breaded tofu, greens, chilled picked radishes, crispy mushrooms (they must have baked them because they tasted like toasted air popped chips!) & noodles. The table next to us ordered truffle fries and it was a huge mound I could smell from our table. We will definitely have to get those next time.

Even my boyfriend, who detests mushrooms and makes a face everytime he sees one before picking them out, thought both these dishes were good & helped himself to seconds! I was very impressed. Way to work a miracle, Cin Cin!

Really good food but you better have a big lunch before dining here! I highly recommend the Korean tacos. My boyfriend actually closed his eyes while eating these because he was so amazed by the variety of flavors. We also ordered the gnocchi which was just average. In fact, we wished we had ordered another order of Korean tacos instead. The plates are small (and somewhat expensive for the amount of food you are getting) so make sure you order numerous things to fill you up!

The food was good. I ordered the short ribs and they tasted great, minus the bit of bone that surprised me when I bit it. I was craving something with a bit of crunch to go with it, though: it and everything that came with it practically melted in my mouth. Not a bad thing, just not enough variety in texture. It was also an EXTREMELY rich dish; probably one of the richest I've ever had.

The service was okay overall. The waiter was patient and took the time to give us a great recommendation for wine, but then disappeared for a while with a drink order being completely lost in the process. We had to ask a busser to get our check for us and to cancel the drink order when it didn't show up before our meal was done. The wait for the food was fine, but the drinks took longer for some reason.

The decor was just okay. I felt as though the seating was a bit compact--they fit a lot of people into a relatively small area, which means it's quite loud when it's busy. We weren't able to hear each other very well as a result.

The menu was just so littered with an array of dishes I quickly correlated the menu to elephant bar.

    Boy was I wrong.

Everything was rich, balanced, and technically executed to perfection. I was blown away by items I usually shy away from, the goat cheese balanced with some sort of sweet acidic relish? Yes please. The empanadas were also MIND blowingly rich and creamy.

The wine seemed to be hit or miss. One cab we ordered completely missed the mark, but a blend we ordered was right on point.

Service was also exceptional. Our party grew to larger than expected and our server was very patient, accommodating, and friendly.

My only complaint would be that this venue is TINY. The capacity probably caps at 100 and the entire restaurant just feels cramped, and dungeony.

Had dinner here again and I must say that a great time to have this place to yourself is during a Sharks playoff game! I had dinner with the kids again and our waiter, Josh (the tall guy!) was great.

Again, the food was just perfect. We had the charcuterie plate, quail, sliders and short ribs. Again, it was all cooked to perfection and everything about the meal was perfect. The glasses sparkled, the waiter was attentive, the wine was great, and all of our favorite songs played in the background.

Consistency is important in any experience. If you enjoy a place the first time, it is good to know that if and when you return, you have a similar experience. Cin-Cin has been consistent every time.

So far, we have all loved everything and have nothing but good to say about Cin-Cin!

This is honestly the best of Los Gatos. I wish Cin-Cin had a more visible location downtown, because I feel like it's pretty easy to overlook. I went to Cin-Cin for the first time just a week ago and then returned again tonight for dinner.

I had the short rib and it was truly delicious. It's very clear the people behind Cin-Cin have a true passion for food. The atmosphere is perfect for a intimate or even family dinner. There is plenty of space so you don't feel too close to those sitting around you.

The service is perhaps some of the best I've experienced. Our waiter Josh was awesome, and he was able to recommend some great cheeses for the Charcuterie plate. I wish I could recommend a particular dish, but everything was equally amazing. If you're going with a group I recommend sharing so you get a bite of as many dishes as possible.

I will be returning.. and very soon!

50% off wine and Chicken Liver Crostini = best combination in the entire world.

Took my mom to Cin-Cin (pronounced Chin Chin) to celebrate Mother's Day. Came the Monday after and was pleasantly surprised by the discounted wine prices. Glad we made reservations because the place was packed!

My mom and I split a bottle of Bordeaux as well as the Cin-Cin sampler to start. The sampler includes bites of chicken liver crostini, tuna melt, deviled eggs, olives, dates, and mixed nuts. If you have a small appetite (like my mom and myself), this is the perfect starter for you. It allows you to try everything on their starter list in a small quantity.

After this starter, my mom and I were actually pretty full, however we just had to give their mushroom risotto a try. However, we weren't too impressed with the risotto :(

I'll definitely come back on a Monday (ideally during happy hour if I can sneak out of work early) to enjoy 50% off wine and cheap appetizers!!

    4.5 stars really.

The boyfriend brought me here on a date night a couple of months ago.  Very cute place, the atmosphere was cool, and I love wine bars, so I was excited.

We ordered some wine flights, and were super happy with all our selections.  Then we ordered a TON of food - and everything was pretty amazing.  The fried goat cheese, truffle fries, charcuterie plate, braised pork belly and egg (pretty great), asparagus flatbread (unexpectedly spicy), and braised beef short ribs.  The short ribs were pretty amazing, I must say.  They were recommended to us by the waiter as his favorite, so we went with it and were glad we did.  We ate all the food, and it was all great.  We even got dessert afterwards, ha.

Unfortunately a little too pricey for a casual meal, but will definitely be back for another special occasion of some sort.

This is not only one of my favorite restaurants, but one of my favorite places on the entire earth. As someone who considers themselves a food "addict" and major food lover, this spot is AMAZING and so worth blowing your cheat "day" or "moment" or "life" on. What I'm saying is, blow all your calories on this. The food is like what you dream about as a little girl, and the cocktails are what you aspire to when you invite your girls over for "movie and mostly snack night." Just go. Get the fries, sliders, Korean tacos and if you're lucky enough to be there near St Patty's Day, the corn beef sliders. The meat balls and cheese platter are also, totally worth it.

Happy hour will save you a ton of $$$ and if you go with more than 2 peeps, make a resie online. It is THE best. Trust.

    Xoxo

Okay, while I've definitely had some miss dishes, I still love this place. I always get a wine flight and some (not all!) of a few favorite items:
      * Diner sliders
      * Mushroom empanadas
      * Pork belly and egg
      * Charcuterie and cheese plate --- huge but lots of fun!

They used to do specials --- had an AMAZING ricotta gnocchi once, but they haven't had one in months. I wish they'd bring it back, or let the chef experiment! That said, the standbys are still tasty.

Recommended for a nice night out with friends!

Aww, delicious wine and small plates.  Throw in a classy, no pretension atmosphere with great service, and you have yourself one awesome night!  I was excited to see an old friend Shaun working the bar, he gave a great honest recommendation on a bottle of white, refreshing easy drinking.  The food was well presented, progressive, and seasoned well.

We enjoyed the beet salad, the pork belly and sous vide egg(absolutely delicious), and the arc de triomphe: Wild Mushroom Empanadas, order two of these, seriously, and don't share, they are awesome!

I look forward to coming back with a hungry belly and clean palate to wine and dine, thanks for the great night, cin cin and mangia mangia!

We've been regulars here for the past 4 years, constantly recommending Cin-Cin to family, friends, and colleagues. Because we enjoy Cin-Cin so much, we decided to host a birthday dinner here last year in April 2012, ensuring that our friends in San Francisco and around the bay would finally make the trip to try out what we've been raving about.

The food and drinks were great as usual. Unfortunately the event left everyone with a negative impression due to Don's (one of the co-owners) rude demeanor and attitude. Despite having brought a large party of ~20 and the business that follows (both for that meal and future potential), he did not greet us or even give a smile once throughout the entire evening. Instead, our only interaction consisted of him periodically reminding us of the time and finally to pretty much ask us to leave as he stood by with an idle eye. (We were informed of a time limit when making our large reservation which we fully acknowledged, respected, and planned to leave by.)

Unfortunately we had to stay about 15 minutes past our "deadline" due to a billing issue. We had 2 tables and wanted separate checks to make splitting the bill easier. However, we, being loyal guests and having invested much in the Cin-Cin Club Card, wanted to ensure we received points for both checks. For whatever reason, our server (who was new at the time) could not figure out how to apply both checks toward the same club card on separate transactions. Since we were already feeling rushed with Don's steady eye on us, we just gave up and had the server combine both bills, forcing our guests to deal with the trouble of figuring out how to split it (and as we all know, resulting in people paying more than what they individually owe).

Regardless of the mishap, we've continued to make the trip across town to support Cin-Cin due to its redeeming factor - Jared, our first and favorite server (just recently found out we were actually his first table ever as well!). Jared's warm welcome, consistent service, genuine friendliness, and extensive menu knowledge continues to be appreciated.

On a more recent note, the previous head bartender (Stephen a.k.a. "House") has unfortunately left - whoever the new bartender is certainly has big shoes to fill!

    Loved this place!
Came here couple weeks ago on a friday night, looked like all tables were taken & a long wait, thankfully we had reservations.
First time here and we will definitely be back.
Service was on point, cute place to celebrate a special occasion or just a regular night to enjoy a nice dinner. Forget our bill tab but was anywhere close to $100-$130ish.
-Ordered a bottle of red wine that was recommended to us, which i may add it was very well priced, & very good.
-Ordered about 2-3 appetizers & 1 main entree to share between both the boyfriend and I. I wont review the food because it was all very very good. Every plate that was being served around us in neighboring tables all looked amazing. Some dishes were different with a mixture of sweet & salty but all delicious!  Therefore anything you get here, you cant go wrong. We cant wait to be back & try new things :)

As the rating says, I thought this place was okay.

Service is friendly (a little too long to flag a waiter down, but I think it's because dining here is not a rushed affair).  The food is good too.  Here's my opinion:

For an appetizer, my friend and I ordered the crispy goat cheese and the truffle fries.  They were both delicious!  The goat cheese was on top of an apricot/pear/currant mostarda (kind of like a chutney) served with arugula, walnuts and bread.  The truffle fries were extremely delicious!  The truffle and cheese add a lot of weight to the fries, so it gets overwhelming if your chowing down on them.  The fries are best enjoyed at a slower pace, at least for me.

For the entrees, we ordered the seared ahi tuna and the seared salmon.  The salmon was okay.  I believe it wasn't well seasoned because it relied on the sides (roasted sunchokes, black garlic puree, arugula-cashew pesto, gnocchi and pearl onions).  Putting almost everything in one bite was delicious.  However, the way the dish was presented made it difficult to split everything.  The puree was presented in dots, and the rest of the sides were of little quantity.

On the other hand, there was a lot of tuna to share!  It was presented on a bed of rice noodles, tempura-fried baby bok choy, charred avocado guacamole and a mango salsa.  The tuna was seared and seasoned perfectly.  I really liked the noodles, but they felt a little greasy.  I'm not sure if it was the oil it was tossed in or if it was from the fried bok choy, which definitely was greasy.  The guacamole felt out of place for this dish.  It didn't add anything to the flavor palate.  Despite this, it was my favorite dish.

I was in a rush to get back to San Francisco (because of my zipcar reservation) so I unfortunately didn't try any of the desserts.

What I really liked about this place is that it has a gluten free menu, and a good selection of wine.  I hope to dine here again and order a glass to compliment my meal.

    Pretty freaking delicious.

Yelp reviews guided me to this awesome spot! I went here on a Thursday night to grab a late dinner with the boo. We didn't have reservations but they were able to seat us right away, yesss! Loved the look of the place. It looked nice without being pretentious. Service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Now on to the important things - the food:

Wild Mushroom Empanadas - Yes, a thousand times yes. This is as tasty as everyone else has mentioned. I love mushrooms and i love truffles. Therefore, I fell in love with this dish. My only wish is that they were bigger or i got more (only cause I'm in love and also a fatass). But must try for sure!

Braised Pork Belly & Egg - As much as I love mushrooms and truffles, I have a bigger fetish for eggs. The 62 degree egg is considered to be the "perfect egg" so i just had to give it a try! Also, pork belly sounds amazing any and everytime. Verdict? The egg was so creamy and delicious which balanced the flavors of the pork belly so well! It also laid on top of super crispy potato hash which added to the textures and flavors of the dish. But really, mmm that egg though.

Roasted '38 North' Chicken - I typically stray away from chicken dishes because chicken just seems so blah when I'm going out to eat. BUT. This was such a great cozy and hearty dish. The chicken was the MOST succulent thing I've had in my mouf in a long while. Highly recommend this if you're looking for chicken dish!

$80 without tip for the two of us and we were comfortably full. A little pricey for a random dinner but definitely worth it for a nice date. I will be coming back for sure!

Dinging 1 star from last visit because of the frustrating service.

It took much too long for our server to greet us once we were seated. We were thirsty. Then..finally,,, after we had ordered, ALL of our food (except the cheese platter) came out at the same time. Overcompensating much?  Our table was crowded with plates and we ended up eating some food after it had cooled b/c of the ill-timed service.

Throughout the night, we had to flag bussers to hunt down our server.

Nevertheless, the food is still absolutely delcious.

Truffle fries = All is forgiven

This place has it all. The ambience, service, and the food. It is trendy, classy, and comfortable. The food is tapas style, be sure to make a reservation. If you come on a Tuesday or Wednesday after 6pm and check-in on Yelp, you get a complimentary mushroom empanda.. and trust me, you want that mushroom empanda.

I've been here on two occassions and have throughly been impressed with everything. Here's a list of my recommendations:

CIN-CIN SAMPLER A good combination of all their appetizers on an inviting dish. This is great for parties of 4+

WILD MUSHROOM EMPANADAS Oh my gosh. perfectly sauteed wild mushroom in an empanda.... this is so delicious. It is on the MUST TRY list. Comes with 3 empandas.

TRUFFLED FRIES These are not the best truffle fries I've ever had, but they are up there. It's a nice healthy portion, and the good thing about these truffle fries is that they are not too greasy. The shallots give it a special touch.

SEARED SALMON Prepared to perfection. The salmon is crispy on the outside, SO MOIST on the inside. Pairs nicely with the arugula and black garlic sauce, gnocchi is prepared nicely as well.

DUCK TOSTADITOS This dish was a bit small, but the flavors are SO WORTH IT, it's nice and hearty.

STEAMED MANILLA CLAMS The clams come in a saffron broth and is kind of a Louisiana creole style dish with sausage and all. Nice flavors going on here.

BLACKBERRY CHEESECAKE Creamy and delicious, comes in a cute mason jar.

    Dishes I would pass on:

KOREAN TACOS I like that they came in a soft taco, comes with 4 tacos, but the flavors were not impressive.

HAMACHI STACK Nothing really special about this dish that makes it worth the $$. The only cool thing is that the fish eggs were wasabi flavored.

CHICKEN LIVER MOUSSE Average dish, nothing special.

I'm pretty ridiculous; I come here once a week and I don't ever want to stop.
The food, the service, the atmosphere; everything is perfect for a great evening out. Our server, the awesome Jared, is the best server I have ever had and knows everything there is about the food AND the wine. He even gave me a card of the winery of my favorite bottle of wine I get there.
Basically look at the photos and that should just speak for itself on how good the food is. I definitely recommend getting the Charcuterie plate (always get) and the Ahi entree. Of course, I always have to add Brussel Sprouts since it is my favorite food in the world.
Go by and sit at the quaint table and ask for Jared; he will take care of you like none other.

I've been to Cin Cin in the past for happy hour with some ex-coworkers and had their appetizer... and thought it was okay only.

This time my cousin took me there for an early B-day dinner.  The place is just as I remembered it.  This place is pretty loud.  Our reservations was at 6:30pm and got seating right when we got there.  As time past, the place begin to fill up and the louder the restaurant go.  By the end of the night, it seems like I was screaming across the table to have my cousin hear what I was saying.  So if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not the place for you.

    What we ordered:

Wild Mushroom Empanadas - at first we were a little skeptical about the manchego cheese as we both never had it before and we both don't like goat cheese or blue cheese.  So the server told us that you can barely taste it.  To our surprise, it was delicious!  I will recommend this to share!

Truffled Fries: Yummy... I think I'm in love with Truffle Oil!  of course I had better truffled fries elsewhere but this place isn't bad and they give you a big portion to share!

Seared Salmon - Delicious if you dip the salmon with the black garlic sauce.  They compliment each other well.  If you are just eating the salmon by itself, then it might be a little bland.  The salmon was cook right... not too dry.

Seafood Jambalaya - I only had a small bite.  I was flavorful and has a kick to it.  My cousin thought it was on the saucier side and thought it was okay.

The services was impeccable.  Our server made sure we were happy with everything and often check up on us to see if we needed anything else.  Great Service!

Yum! I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

I came here on a date and was incredibly impressed with the hospitality from the get-go (granted, I did make reservations using Yelp/OpenTable - can we just take a moment to appreciate how convenient that is?).

The waiter was very... excited to be there? He thought everything was great, everything we ordered was superb, and he was especially effusive about the wine selection. Since we came on a Monday night the wines were 1/2 off per bottle, so naturally that's what we went with. My date picked a Pinot Noir, which the restaurant was out of, so they substituted with an organic wine called Chehalem, from Three Vineyard in Willamette Valley, Oregon. It was fruity and light and went well with the Seared Ahi Tuna I ordered.

My date went with the seafood jambalaya, and he seemed to really enjoy it.

I also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts with my dinner. They were actually surprisingly bland compared to the rest of the meal (I mean, I like Pasta Pomodoro's recipe). They were a little over-cooked and not caramelized enough. Alas! Nothing is ever perfect.

I ordered the raspberry ricotta cheesecake for dessert, to share. IT WAS AMAZING!! I could have had a meal out of that cheesecake and the wine alone and died happy.

The cheesecake has raspberry blended into it, but it also comes with a side of raspberries in some kind of incredibly light marmalade or something. I only know that I want more. And how.

All-in-all I would say that this was an excellent date location and they've definitely earned a repeat customer from me!

I came here with some friends this past Saturday for the first time.  While we were not able to make a reservation for a specific time, we were able to get a table for 4 in the bar and the hostess helped us secure that table.  She was wonderful!

We were there during happy hour, had a few drinks and they were great.  Our server was very attentive and kind (he also made our amazing drinks) and the food was AMAZING.  I will definitely be coming back.

    What I ordered:
    Mushroom Empanadas (A)
    Cin Cin flatbread (A-)
    Polenta (A)

Cin-Cin has made it on my homepage many times whether it be ROTD or the Weekly Yelp and have heard nothing but good things about the place, I found that hard to believe until I tried it for myself. Cin-Cin definitely lives up to its reputation.

I dislike mushrooms, if I can see any traces of the fungus you better believe it will be eagle-eyed out of my meal, however Teresa N convinced me to try the Wild Mushroom Empanadas - I have concluded the only time a mushroom will pass my esophagus is in an empanada served up by Cin-Cin because it is simply divine.

Once in a while the broke college graduate has to venture from the Happy Hour menu to the regular one and I'm glad I did. Their polenta is one of those unexpected surprises, fully satisfying and is something i'd willingly pay full price for.

Monday is the day to go: Half off bottles of wine and happy hour mushroom empanadas. If Garfield knew about Cin-Cin he wouldn't hate Mondays so much.

I've been hearing so much about Cin-Cin and I'm glad it lives up to its hype! On Mondays, it's half off all bottles wine, even the $200 bottles. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. If you don't know much about wine and cheese pairings, they will definitely be able to make some great recommendations for you.

We ordered a bottle of Austrian white wine with the artisan cheese plate and mushroom empanadas (per the recommendation of the server), all of which were delicious. The empanadas were full of mushrooms and flavor and not greasy nor heavy at all. The cheese plate lets you choose 3 different cheeses and it came with a honey nut mixture, some sort of almond cake thing, apple slices, and grapes.

I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu, especially on Mondays where the bottles of wine are such a steal!

I am no longer sure of anything. If I satiate my desires, I sin but I deliver myself from them; if I refuse to satisfy them, they infect the whole soul -- Jean-Paul Sartre

There is no sin except stupidity -- Oscar Wilde

JP's quote is a conundrum indeed so I say just sin and satiate than infect ;)

And Cin-Cin is a great place to get satiated.  This is the type of wine bar that is done so easily in N. Cal but in places like Orange County there just isn't enough sophistication, plus there is too much pretentiousness behind wine, to really do a fun, interesting wine & food joint like this place it.  From the interesting wine list, to the flexibility of essentially creating your own flight and tasting with a variety of options to the wonderfully inventive food; Cin-Cin is a restaurant that I will definitely find myself going back over and over again.

The food menu has a wide variety of options including appetizers, small plates (otherwise known as appetizers) and main course entrees.  The flexibility with the wines also manifests itself with the cheese plates as you have a variety of options to choose from.  I have not had the entrees yet but I did enjoy the flatbread and the ham wrapped dates although I wish they were bacon wrapped (I know, pig semantics but mmmm, bacon).  There are a wide variety of desserts including the chocolate cake special we had (mmmm...chocolate) and dessert wines.

Favorite wine out of the six (Hey, remember one of Sartre's two options was satiate and who am I to argue with a French philosopher?) I tasted was a lovely Tempranillo from Spain.  Service was friendly and relaxed which matched the crowd even though it was a bit too Los Gatosy at times (where even the minorities are Caucasian).  But hey, even though my home base is both south County and Orange County I guess I'm a little Los Gatosy too.

Cin-Cin is highly recommended in my book!

Now, I know what my five readers are thinking: "Hey Sid, you usually weave in these quotes very well in your reviews.  Why the Oscar Wilde one?"  Well dear five readers, that's reserved for the 1-24-13 one star review for Cin-Cin which reads almost as a parody that screams to be used in "Real Actors Read Real Yelp Reviews."  In fact, it is so appalling I may You Tube myself reading it. If 27 minute wait time is what ruins an evening for you, I hope that something really tragic, like a torn fingernail or butter that is served too hard to spread (God I hate that) doesn't befall you because therapy (I have heard) can be quite expensive.  Cheer up and just remember that 2 billion people live on a buck a day and solely because you won the birth lottery, you didn't become one of them. Grace is an attractive quality that is sinfully all too rare - My made up quote.

My regular place to go for wine bar and social! This place is sort of hidden, its behind Hobee's, so if you enter Hobee's parking lot, and keep going, there is tons of parking for this restaurant in the back.

Everyone who i've gone here with is impressed by the meals on the menu. The appetizers are very popular! Check out their menu they have a wide variety of gluten free items also.

    Must Try!

Roasted Serrano Ham Wrapped Dates stuffed with Bleu cheese (mildly sweet/savory unique taste)

    Wild Mushroom Empanadas

Hamachi Crudo (Somewhat similar to a poke dish)

    Korean Tacos (Amazing fresh flavors)

Farmers Market Entree (unique vegetables, dressed lightly, added to any appetiser or dish

Crispy Goat Cheese & Soba noodle wrap yum... Can't go wrong here... they also have wine pairings with each course.

Happy hour menu is different and also yum! Monday's I think its 50% off bottle wines...
