Great place for a relaxing night out. I had the potato skins and garlic shrimp for appetizers and they were options to lead up to my phenomenal main course of fish and chips. The fish was light and fluffy and the French fries were fresh and hot. Our waitress was amazing; she was there when we needed her, and on top of everything. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through High Point, and I know for a fact I will be returning there in future visits.
Review Source:This review is for the bar area only. We stopped in late one night, for a nightcap only. There was a guitar duet there, but I swear it was the most quiet guitar music I have ever heard. You could hear people talking clearly over the music.
There is ZERO diversity here, me and hubby stuck out like sore thumbs. This is never an issue for us, but for some reason I noticed the lack of ethnicity at this joint. Yes, it is an Irish pub, but there are Irish people of other races!
The drinks were okay, staff seemed pretty nice. I doubt that I would go back though.
