I love this pizza. It is my favorite pizza of all pizza places. Never eaten here just gotten carryout. I live five min away and normally call when I am leaving the house because service is that fast. They always say 5-10 min and it is literally that. Or I will call while j am at Safeway checking out and it will be ready. Always friendly. Little pricey but worth the price to me. My only complaint is sometimes it's too hot and fresh and cheese slides around in the car on the way home.
If you want a good NY style pizza go here. Seriously. now.
P.s. Also have GF pizza but yet to try
This place has the best pizza in Westminster. Â OK, I grew up on Long Island, and I will admit that nothing outside the NYC area even comes close to NYC area pizza. Â But I live here now, and Classico's is the best in the area. Â The garlic knots are also excellent. Â I have tried a special or two here, and though they are generally quite good, the pizza is their true specialty. Â
Very good, friendly and attentive service. Â I have both eaten in the restaurant and gotten take-out. Â To the best of my knowledge, they do not deliver.
It is a small place that doesn't have many tables, but I imagine the vast majority of their business is take-out (particularly with the McDaniel College campus within reasonable walking distance).
Ahh, one of the favorite local establishments frequented by Western Maryland College students. What's that you say, its McDaniel now? Don't even get me started on that atrocity of a name, but I guess those students can go to Classico too, but this place opened up when it was still WMC.
The place has some seriously good pizza, although it isn't anything to be confused with brick open or specialty pizza. It is a very thin crust, and it makes it perfect to be folded while eating. The sauces and toppings fit very well with this style of pizza. And it is certainly a grease fest, as in you'll probably want to use some napkins to get rid of it before it goes into your freshmen fifteen body.
I honestly can't speak about other dishes, because I've only ever had the pizza here. But if I had to choose between pizza here or at Roberto's, I would definitely choose Classico.
Having lived in/near Baltimore a few years and traveling to NYC many times I've become what I call a Pizza snob :) We just moved here less than a month ago and I was told to check out Classico Pizza. It was very good! I have been there twice now and both times got pizza. We all loved it. The black olives are whole which was odd but it didn't stop me from ordering them. The white pizza was delicious also. I would recommend this place to all.
Review Source:Classico is probably the best in Westminster, but it's commodity pizza, really. A few steps better than Pizza Hut, but nowhere near a top brick-oven place. Likewise nowhere near just about any random strip mall shop in Long Island or Brooklyn. Â
We like to bring the Classico pie home, then bake it a bit longer to brown up the cheese. I'm sure we'll bring home plenty more.
People do eat in, at the informal collection of booths. Counter service is friendly and efficient.
Hands down THE best pizza, subs, salads and calimari around. Every ingredient is so fresh and the owners are friendly and accomodating. If you have to cater a party. Everyone will enjoy the food and compliment you on your choice. I have friends that come from 4 towns away just to have their pizza. I was in one day and a girl came all the way from DC just to have a taste of the food she use to eat in college. Saying she hasn't found the comprable anywhere. Love this food!! Cheers, Lucy
