    Where do I even begin?

My friend said she'd passed it a million times on her way to work, and always wanted to see what it was like inside.  Obviously, you can't tell from the outside because it has no windows.  I saw the 80's style cursive flourescent "Liquid" sign lit up and I knew it'd be bad news.

We got there around 11:30 on a Saturday night, and we'd actually just seen the owner at another bar.  So, he said he'd call so we wouldn't have to pay.  I'm not sure if he actually did that, or the door-guy just let us in, because we didn't even say anything.

Walking in, there's a bar right in front.. there were cups strewn all about the floor, flyers and posters around, and a cop in the right-hand side corner.  Uhhhhh, hiiii.

Following the hallway around, we got to the main dance floor and went straight up to the bar to get a drink. The service was fast and quick, thanks to a pretty girl behind the bar.  There wasn't anyone on the dance floor except for a kid dancing with his jacket.  No lie, yes, he was dancing with his jacket.  Whatever you're picturing in your head, that's it.  There were a handful of people here and there dancing on the sides, at their tables, that's all.

My friend bravely got a few people out on the floor and more people followed.  I can be completely honest when I say, we were somewhat out of place... but we knew that ahead of time, and didn't care.  At first glance, we don't look like hip hop, rap, reggae lovers... we were wearing preppy scarves, t-shirts and boots, but really, we just wanted to dance.  And dance we did.  Overall, we had a great time and stayed about an hour.

Why I only gave it two stars:
    1.  You really have to be in the mood to go there.
    2.  If you don't fit the look, you will feel out of place, mostly because the other patrons are giving you the evil eye, when all you want to do is dance and have a good time.
    3.  We heard that a lot of stuff goes down here... like what, guess.
    Oh and 4.
A girl blatantly tried to steal my purse.  I put it on the side of the dance floor, and was dancing right next to it, so I could watch it.  I saw her move around her table and strategically keep nudging it with her foot to her friend.  I gave it two nudges, because I wasn't sure if it was just in her way or if she was trying to take it, but oh yes, she was.  I gave a hard shove and a hard look, and grabbed them back with an exchange of few words.  Not cool.

So overall, if you've got a bunch of your good friends and don't care what other people think, go and have fun.  Don't bring a bag, and realize there'll be a ton of people who think they're better than you... when they're not.

If you enjoy loud hip hop, rap, & reggaeton with heavy bass, then Club Liquid is the place to go! My peeps and I sometimes drop in here on the weekends for drinks, clubbing, good times and gasolina!!! The atmosphere is usually very packed including on the dance floor and around the bar. The jams and techno are very loud blasting from the speakers and DJs here do a great job keeping the party going. Ya down wit O-P-P!!! Yeah you know me!!! The crowd here is a younger mix (lots of baggie pants and caps). The bouncers do a good job keeping the crowds in check. Usually a $5 cover after 11PM.
