Bad reviews by the people bent about a $5 cover, the pure entertainment from the Jersey Shore rejects inside(Addison's wanna be strip-mall gangsters), or the fact that chics and dudes are swarming the place for a one night stand, should be disregarded to the highest degree.. it's a 4 am bar!!!.. people are out of their minds to be out this late any way you slice it..either you're too drunk to call it a night or real interested in meeting some real f*cked up peeps..that's the beauty of this joint! Great staff, reasonable prices, plenty of room to shake it, if that's your thang, and tons of late night laughs! A blend of people makes it fun, the old dude creeping around coping a cheap feel, the dude with the sunglasses sporting the cosmos 3 for 1 suit and a motorola brick phone.. you can't beat it, not in the sticks anyhow! Lighten up, take it from a guy with 2 livers, it's a great joint.. spring and summer the outside deck is the spot!!
Review Source:It looks a little rinky dink. But I guess the dance floor makes up. It's a pretty big dance area with very huge flat or projection screen. I like that they serve pizzas for patrons who would like a slice, I dislike that the pizza is left on a warmer thing. Looks very institutional cafeteria-ish.
I can say this is a good place for dancing, and probably a great place to show movies and eat. I just never had the food there, because I came here for the after party. Drinks and dancing.
I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are for. The booze is CHEAP. The cover isn't outrageous all things considered. the DJ's are decent.
Right now you are wondering why this is 5 stars...it's open until 4am! C'mon. I hear tons of shit about Coach House and yet everyone ends up going there. It is open until 4am when every other place is open until 1 or 2.
The place is clean and the bouncers boot the riff raff. Tommy has been there forever and is a riot and Cammy is a truly delightful woman as well. (there are 4 or 5 other bartenders who also treat you right every...single time.)
If you are out and hate the idea of going home before 2am....Coach House is king.
P.S. there are TONS of cabs there all the time so don't drink and drive.
Just got a 2nd degree burn on my hands from trying to wash my hands in the bathroom of course no one competent was around to relay a message to the manager that drunk patrons could be injured that way. Â I don't understand why I was denied contact with the management to simply relay an fyi let a lone had to pay 10 cover to get burned literally and figuratively at this hell hole.everyones told me stories (about bigger injustices) and I never believed them until I went for myself this place does not care about anyone who walks through their doors.theyre the only ones open until 4am and if you have a problem at all good luck! My boyfriend also was kicked out because some drunken idiot started a fight about who was in line to pay their tab first at closing time despite the fact he never laid a hand on the guy. Which led to being unable to find eachother to leave this nasty place! The service is poor due to not enough bar tenders and sloppy ones at best. And the patrons are jersey shore wannabes who didnt make it through the casting call.Next time I come here I'm liable to shit on the dance floor and leave
Review Source:So a friend and I mosied on over to Coach House, after not seeing other for almost seven months. We grabbed a couple drinks here, as it was early, and there was no dance floor or DJ action at 11pm. Apparently they have a DJ quite frequently, and the place stays open till 3/4am according to the bartender.
Pros:
+ Very friendly bartender, she was quite willing to shoot the breeze with us
+ Stiff drinks, the Tequila Sunrise had some kick in it
Cons:
- The decor is fairly bland, an odd mix of dance floor club with more traditional bar area that is split in two sections, then a third which is further segregated from the first two, funky layout
Can't really comment on the dancing/music action, as we arrived too early. Overall, what we did experience, was okay, if nothing spectacular.
The Coach House is a place I can say I have gone to and will not go to again. $5.00 cover, not sure for what. To cover the cost of all the bouncers? Seriously, this place  had lots of bouncers, all rather large, kinda perched in points surrounding the dance floor. Trouble here often? Hmm. Bounce staff not concerned with the creeper in the corner with his hands in his pants ogling couples dancing.
Bar and wait staff were friendly eager to please.
Crowd was odd. Like, wear a flannel shirt, Ed Hardy or suit. Lots of very young looking people here.
The dance floor was never hopping. The attached open smoking room made the rest of the place ice cold, even when it was slightly more crowded.
There are much better places to be between 2 - 4AM.
Definately an fun place. One of the last 4 am bars in the area. Staff is very friendly, they make u feel like family unless you are an immature idiot. The bartenders and the cocktail waitresses are some of the best around. They know how to do their job. I have also been here during the day, they have excellent food. The daytime manager george is very personable, and is always making sure the customers are happy. I have never had a bad experience here.
Review Source:This place sucks. One star is too much for this dirty place! They told my boyfriend to take off this hat cuz there was no hats tonight. Ok what? What's that supposed to mean? We asked why and the security guy got pissed we questioned it and told us to take the hat to the car or we all can't come in. Did he think my boyfriend was in a gang ? Once we got in we went to the bar got a drink and headed to the dance floor. The waitress finally came over and asked us what drinks we wantedak got all our orders but walked away before my other friends could order? Jersey shore scum and a mix or creepers and old guys and horrible waitresses... Never again
Review Source:ohhhh coach house you are the idols of schauburg. really, truely only the dirtiest of the dirty. Â I felt like everyone there (guys & girls) were looking for a one night stand, and for that hookup to happen in the bathroom or a car. I no longer live in glendale heights and will never ever, ever venture past woodfield to a bar again.
Review Source:I don't know whats with the other reviews, but the place tries to be upscale but from what i've heard it's an after-hours dive bar. They have valet parking like they're trying to be upscale and also have a "dress code" that they randomly support. Despite the fact that my friends and I are clean cut well dressed citizens, we were denied because one of us was wearing a white shirt, yet they let other men go in with nearly the same clothes we were in.
Perhaps they just don't like guys that aren't yuppies or douches. or they didn't like the fact that I'm a white guy with dreadlocks. If you want to go to a place that obviously picks it's patrons then go right ahead. The way i look at it is that i saved myself a hundred or two that i can spend at an establishment that values their customers, not shun them away because they prefer a relaxed look.
Maybe i'll go there in my  suit, see if they deny me then.
I think this is the last surviving dancing place in the area.
Parking is too small for the large crowds after midnight.
Drink prices are average and service is great.
Nice remodeled patio with patio bar.
Location is next to Roselle ,but  not IN Roselle, I think property is in unincorporated Cook County.
Never going there again....I have no been robbed twice (by females). Â BEWARE....girls act like you have taken their table....on this past Saturday I saw some girl scoot in the table and I made her hand me my purse, but not after did she take off with my wallet did I notice. Â This bar is garbage.
Review Source:They kicked a pregnant woman out, when she was only drinking water and eating pizza. Â Wouldn't listen to her or her friends, just kicked her out. Â STOOPID.
<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fabcnews.go.com%2FUS%2Fpregnant-lady-turned-illinois-bar%2Fstory%3Fid%3D12600511&s=a9fa1f1525bd426eb4e9ac395c553fe1d6c14f4650226036c4bfdc117a5a9382" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://abcnews.go.com/US…</a>
It's T-Shirt Time! Â Ronnie's at the club hooking up with grenades and land mines!
This place is Jersey Shore meets Addison meets rough. Â I can't really put my finger on why, but I would never hang out with anyone I meet at this bar. Â It's scummy to the maximum. Â It was a contest to see whose Affliction shirt was tighter than the next guys. Â I felt out of place in a polo shirt, so if you go here, get some Ed Hardy or Affliction. Â
The girls here are into douche-bags, so just act like a douche and you will probably get a ton of phone numbers. Â Spray tans required.
Drinks are kind of pricey and there is actually a cover at a suburban bar. Â This is almost as bad as John Barleycorn that charges you to go to the dancing level of their bar. Â Except John Barleycorn is much less scummy.
The only reason this place has 2 stars is b/c the staff there is good. Â The bartender was doing tricks to keep people entertained. Â Also, some of the girls were kind of cute I guess.?. Â But, not my type, b/c they like being at this place.
This place sucks. Â I wouldn't go back.
Ahh...Roach House..I mean Coach House..
I've had some pretty wild nights here myself..but I tend to steer clear of this place with all the riff raff that dwell here.
I mean, the music is good, the bartenders are all super nice and really take care of you, but they need to clean it ever 3 years or something..because I swear I saw a cockroach stand up on the bar and do the Walter Brennan dance..
ANYWAY!
This place is actually pretty nice to come here in the summer they have this huge double door that they open up that leads to the deck on the side of the bar. Nice fresh air (depending on the amount of people smoking outside) blows throughout the place. They have a huge full bar outside and they usually set up Bags for people to play. The dance floor is inside the place but that never stopped us from making our own outside!
The drinks are relatively cheap for being a nightclub, so that's always a plus. And I have to agree with Katrina, I wouldn't eat here if I were you..eat before you come if your that hungry! ENJOY! :)~
Once again I am reading these reviews from people I can tell that they are either ex girlfriends of the owners or some ticked off employee with out a "back-up" plan. I wish you well....
This place has made the turn and proven to thousands that this is here to stay. It's got a terriffic management team and staff and the ladies (from what I can tell) are ALWAYS treated preferentially. I have never seen the stupidity that used to occupy this place back in the day. I pop in there from time to time and it's always consistant and CLEAN compared to ANY late night place we all end up at.
So take it easy: it is what it is at the late night places.
Advice: try their lunch some time. you'll change your opinion
Nothing too special about this bar except it is open when other bars are closed. it is a way alot like why people go to White Castle, only because other places are closed. I ate there once and it was typical bar food. I guess if you live in Schaumburg and want to go to a neighborhood bar and dress up in the this is the place.
Review Source:Hey Malakes this is the top of top for what they do!
Since Jimmy took this place over several years back, every year has been a HUGE improvement and the place looks and tastes delicious!
Trust me back when I wouldn't have stepped foot in here. But now its a whole new world in there and outside.
Just look at the place, they care, they are there and they give you a huge value.
The ladies are hot, the drinks are generous and the food is SHOCKINGLY good.
It's a bar people - just a nice little bar where you can dance and have fun with your friends. Take it for what it's worth and go out and have a drink. Life if good
Wow, people eat here?? Â Sorry Tommy, but I wouldnt. Â This place has been a late night bar for a long time. Â I will save all the stories for some other time, but let me repeat, I definitely would not eat here. Â
So my review is strictly based on countless drunken visits when all other bars are closed and Dakota's is too far. Â I like the patio during the warm months. Â The valet is nice, because the parking lot can be jammed. Â Drinks are good, selection is decent. Â The bathrooms are better now, don't make me elaborate on that, they're better now. Â
I like getting there a smidge early to dominate the dance floor to some 80's hits before the DJ gets crazy. Â It's nice to get out a little early too, because like Gramma always said: "nothing good happens after 3" Â ha!
I'm not really sure how I want to review this place. Â I was there for lunch a few weeks ago, and I had an awesome buffalo chicken sandwich, it had a good kick to it. Â The bread was probably the best part of it.
The fries that came with it were good, until I got to one particular fry - something was insanely wrong with it when I bit into it. Â When it comes to food, I'm easy to please, I'll eat just about anything. Â I have had bad fries, I just eat it and go to the next one.
I can't even put a finger on what it tasted like, but it was aweful, and I was about to run to the bathroom to allow for it's exit.
Like I said, I'm feeling bittersweet about this joint, the sandwich kicked ass, but that one fry kinda killed it. Â I'll probably go back, and will cross my fingers that this was a one-time bad experience.
I've been to the Coach House 3 times and havent had a bad experience yet... I just wouldnt get there before 12:30am.
This is one of those bars that stays open until 4am so its primarily an "after the other bars that close at 2am close". Â There is a good looking crowd with a mix of middle 20's up until the lower 40's. Â There usually is a cover to enter (from what I can remember) that is roughly $5.
As soon as you walk in the front door there is a decent sized circular bar with a pretty big dance floor area in the back. Â There is seating around the dance floor as well with booths and tables. Â In the summer, the outdoor patio and bar are open often times with a guy grilling late night cheeseburgers (everyone loves a good cheeseburger at 3:30am).
Bartenders are pretty cool guys from what I can tell and the waitresses are walking around looking to assist in your boozing. Â This is a pretty well run establishment and is a great place to head on a thursday through saturday night (or I should say early mornings).
