Cocina Mexicana El Tenampa

I love local places.  Husband and wife serving up some of the best hispanic entres from Bonita to North Fort Myers.  The "Texas Burrito"'s freshness put's Moe's to shame.  Their quesadillas are made how they are supposed to be made:  BIG.  Specials for every day of the week with high priced items for the weekends only.  This place is a gem and I haven't brought one person here that noticed it before.  Call it the curse of the Publix strip mall, but this place deserves a stand alone building.  Corporate chains with mass produced food and under paid workers is a shame.  Forgot Moe's and Chipotle and put your money back into the community.  At least you know the food is fresh and local, and not shipped from Mexico.

Save your time and eat somewhere else.  People were friendly but the food was oily and blan.  For chicken they used what looked like dog food and tasted about the same.

Excellent food, friendly people and you can't beat the prices!  Tacos are $2 each and come with onions and cilantro.  Try the al pastor it is fantastic.
