Rita's Ice-Custard

I love Rita's for a sweet treat.  I always get the ices, but my husband loves the frozen custard too.  The best part of this place is that there's something for every mood.  I usually go here for light, summery and refreshing fruity treats, but they have indulgent sweets and middle of the road sweets too.  

Menu suggestion: strawberry ice, mango ice

Yep Ritas beats out Cold Stone Creamery... of course that is if you like Custard Style ice cream.. the only complaint I have is that they don't freeze their ice cream as hard as some of the other custard ice cream shops. In the heat here in Florida you really need a deep frozen ice cream.

A pretty decent selection of custard. They are missing the Bricks though. If you have every had a brick from another custard shop you will know what I mean.

Very tasty dessert. The ice choices are great (and plentiful). I suggest you expand your horizons and make a combo (the water ice flavor of your choice PLUS a custard), that is the "concept" for this place... a Northeast Pennsylvania treat. Personally, I like the orange ice with a vanilla custard.
