We ate with another family at Rudino's and I really did enjoy the atmosphere, as well as most of the food.
My twins had the BLT Grinders which were excellent! Â The bread had just the right amount of warm toastiness on the outside while still being nice and soft on the inside. Â The sandwiches were a good size and full of bacony, tomatoey, cheesey, lettuce goodness! Â *I was lucky enough to be able to taste once I told them I would be Yelping!
I had a the small Greek salad. Â The lettuce was very fresh, all the ingredients were wonderful, the dressing, although packed, was yummy, as well. Â The Feta was yummy and plentiful, without there being too much of it. Â
My mother, her husband and my son ordered the pepperoni pizza and I have to say, I wasn't impressed. Â The sauce did taste good, the cheese was excellent and the pepperoni was yummy... but the crust ruined it. Â It was flavorless and reminded me of wet cardboard.
The family that owns it were wonderful, though. Â Friendly, kind, really interested in what we thought of the food and took our criticisms well and seemed to want to improve on any shortcomings. Â
I would highly recommend the grinders and salads and I am sure that there are many other menu items that are fabulous.
