This is an Italian restaurant that offers hummus and babaganoush as an appetizer.  The rest of the menu offers pizza, pasta, and a few entrées (such as Milanese and francaise). The atmosphere is nice and my husband and I were excited to try the food.  We ordered mozzarella skewers as an appetizer.  When it arrived it was not skewers, it was mozzarella caprese.  I asked our waiter about it and he explained that "the kitchen is out of cherry tomatoes." He didn't ask us if the substitution was okay with us, he just dropped off the food and left.  It was fine, but not what we ordered. Next, came our salads, nothing special, mostly red cabbage and the white chunky parts of iceberg lettuce.  Twenty minutes later, we finally received our entrées.  My husband ordered Carbonara, one of his favorites.  What he received was the thinest cream sauce we have ever seen.  The sauce was thiner than milk. It was definatly not the rich, thick cream sauce he was looking forward to.  I ordered Chicken Francaise.  What I recieved was a single piece of chicken (half a breast) breaded on top of a pile of spagatti in a broth.  The lemon butter wine sauce, was more like a light ckicken broth.  I did taste some lemon after squeezing the lemon garnish over the chicken though.  When we asked the waiter about the long wait time and asked him why the sauce was so thin he gave no explanation, told us "thank you" and walked away.  He  came back two minutes later and asked me if he could offer me another glass of wine.  I thought that he was trying to make up for the disapointing food.  Clearly not, I was charged for the second glass of wine he offered which brought our disapointing dinner to a full charge total of $70.  Needless to say we will not be going back!
