College Main Street

As many whom have lived in College Station for at least a year might have noticed, the 100 block of College Main Street has been renovated and no longer allows travel by car.  I was actually the last person to drive down it last year before they closed it off for construction.   Had no idea it would never re-open for cars, only for foot traffic and bikes.

The result, a much safer situation for students walking to and from Texas A&M University campus and the Northgate restaurant and bar district, sporting everything from The Dixie Chicken to The Corner Rooftop Bar & Grill, to Antonio's Pizza, Starbucks, etc.  

Nice job City of College Station!
