Great food and awesome service. The steak and baby spinach pizza was delicious followed by the banana split which I'll definitely be going back for several times! Try the red berry sangria and you won't be disappointed. I love that they involve charities on Monday nights, it's so refreshing to see local businesses give back. The layout is great too, open clean and modern. Will be going back for sure!
Review Source:Once again Matt and the community oven food saved the day! I got the caprese kabobs and the chicken kabob ceaser! I'm telling you there isn't one bad thing at this place!!! I don't normally give in fact I have NEVER rated a place twice with a 5 star until today! They are doing it right! Don't go anywhere else for wings or pizza! You'll thank me after!
Review Source:Love it here... but this is said knowing the following: Â half the time we go( and it have been alot) the pizza we order is not the pizza we get. Â There is now quite a big bartender/ waitstaff scene. Â A couple of good ones remember they are working ... the others use it as a trampoline for their social life. Â The wings are sometime delicious... sometimes rubbery. Â Why do we go back? Â The pizza is still the best around....!
Review Source:This isn't your ordinary type pizza place. Second time ordering pickup from here and it wasn't any better or any worse than the previous time. The chicken on tonights pizza tasted rubbery and didn't feel fresh. Not the worst pizza but not the best either and also a little pricey. Look around for an alternative if one time doesn't do it for you.
Review Source:I am updating this because today I got an angry call from someone at the restaurant asking me why I posted this review and that I was a liar.
I have no reason to lie. I just had an experience that was less than fantastic and I was served a cold pizza.
I am stunned that the establishment would violate my privacy by calling me at my home to tell me that I was a liar and that they were going to post the security footage to prove I was a liar.
I stand by my review and question the customer service.

So some friends and I stopped in here on Saturday February 23, 2013 and took a seat at the bar.
Took a while for the bartender to get to us as he was talking to the two young women on the other side of the bar and the the on duty US Postal employee that was drinking his lunch.
The place was almost empty so there was no reason for the delay. We finally got our beers and looked over the menu for a bit before ordering a pizza. After we ordered the pizza a fair amount of time went by where other people that sat down after us and ordered after us received  their food.
After about 25 minutes our pizza came and we started to dig in.
The pie was stone cold and the bartender was nowhere to be seen.
Another 5 minutes or so passed and then the bartender finally came back to the bar area and asked us how the pizza was. My friend and I both told him that it was cold when it arrived.
He lifted up the pan off the bar, felt the bottom and sad "whoah sorry about that... should I have it warmed up?" then put it back down. Fresh pizza should not have to be warmed up. It was obvious that he let it sit out before he remembered that we ordered something. He was simply too busy doing other things.
Very disappointing customer service in my experience for what turned out to be almost a  $70 lunch check with tip.  Nothing was offered for his mistake and bad service other than warming up a fresh pizza which should not have needed warming.
I have had great experiences in the restaurant portion of this establishment but I have to say that the bar staff needs some better training and needs to do less socializing when they should be working.
I expect more for my money...
I have to say that this is fantastic wood oven pizza at it's best! We have been there many many times and it is always consistent and delicious. Â I have no idea what people are complaining about and it always shocks me that this place is not packed every night! Their beers on tap are awesome and of course their pizzas are very very good! To boot they just added calzones which are SOOOO YUMMY!!! The chicken bacon ranch calzone is naughty deliciousness!!
Try this place! You won't regret it!!
This pizza joint is down the street from my parents house; they are lucky! Nice and spacious plus good service and delicious pizza- good combinations of favors depending on what you get. Try the chicken pesto and the PPM which is pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms. Good beers on tap as well- Â Tuckerman's Pale Ale is one I have not had prior. I hope this sticks around for my next trip home!
Review Source:I love love love their pizza and tap selection. Always consistent (good). he pizza is amazing and I just found out you can get a large pie and a bottle of select wine for $30 on Wednesdays. Although I didn't take the deal (cause of the awesome tap selection) I think I just might have to the next time. Cool and Hipster waiters and stuff. And a bonus for the bathrooms cause Mr. H did all of the plumbing there. T
Review Source:New to the area, but we've already been here for two awesome meals. Both times we got the cheesy breadsticks and were DELIGHTED by the gooey, cheese-covered bread and delicious marinara dipping sauce. They're extremely flexible with pizza toppings and I've had wonderful results both times. The cheese is good, the sauce tasty and the pizza base exactly the sort of thin-but-not-TOO-thin style I enjoy. Watching it made in the open kitchen is enjoyable.
I love the open dining room and community feel of the place. My husband (in his early 30s) always seems to love the music and gets excited at hearing old favorites playing in the background. The staff seem casual, friendly and genuine rather than buttoned up and sticking to the script like in many places. We've had the same server both times, and he was an absolute delight--a little distracted at times, but in such a natural and apologetic way that it was more charming than anything else. It's the kind of place I could easily imagine being a regular in.
We couldn't believe how quiet it was both times, even at 7pm on weekend evenings. I hope the place starts getting more attention over time, because it deserves to do well. A very enjoyable place for a spontaneous treat.
We bought a Living Social in order to try this new restaurant in town. This is one of those occassions where I wish I could give 2.5 stars. First, I must say that I'm not a huge pizza fan and am incredibly picky when it comes to it.
The ambiance is nice and the service was good.
The basic dinner salad was the best I've had at a "pizza place"-- veggies were fresh and the dressing was light and tasted homemade.
The pizza was just ok. It was pretty average in our opinion. I did like that the crust was thin and the toppings tasted fresh.
The overall value was good. Would I go back? If I really wanted pizza and wanted to go close to home I might.
Id rather go to 180 for a real wood fired pizza, got the pulled pork pizza and there was hardly any meat on it, rediculous and a bit overpriced for a below average pie,,also $13.00 for a cheese board with chedder, mozzarella and a local chesse (where was the 'international' cheese??) was an absolute joke that was immed. sent back by my friend. Bartender wasn't too attentive also, more interested in her friends at the bar  sorry, Not goin back anytime soon, would have eaten at Ron Jillians but it was too crowded and we were hungry
Review Source:Went back again after my previous review and brought some visiting friends from out of town and they loved the place! And now there's a Caesar on the menu and it was very good, but it was tad over-dressed (better than under) and there was no offer of anchovies, but at least it's there. And it was very crowded this time, which was great to see.
Review Source:We have been going to The Community Oven about once a week since they opened. My biggest complaint early on was that the pizza took too long to cook but that has greatly improved over the weeks. The service is sometimes a little too slow too. My last experience was the best. Our male server was fast and prompt and the pizza was even BETTER than ever. We ordered sausage with onions and green peppers. Â It's not the typical pizza I would order but I'm sure glad I did. Â The salads are delicious and my husband always orders the wings. My kids LOVE the Smores dessert because they get to toast their own marshmallows at the table. Hands down it's my favorite pizza around! Heck, I think I may need to go there now for some pizza! ;-)
Review Source:Nice solid addition to the area. Â Been a few times now and tried several different types of pizza and all have been good. Â You can definitely tell the freshness of the ingredients - and it never gets old watching them put your pie together right in front of you and toss it in the oven.
The wing appetizer is ok. Â The wings are huge, but it would be nice if it had a little more flavor other than the rub they use.
Good beer selection and super friendly service.
New Hampshire magazine had an article on this restaurant describing The Community Oven's use of high-quality pepperoni. Â As a fan of pepperoni but not of its bad reputation for being unhealthful, I decided to give this place a try.
I ordered a small pepperoni, mushroom, and green pepper pizza. Â First, the crust. Â It's hand-tossed in plain view where you can also the see the wood-burning oven. Â It was delicious, crispy, chewy in the center and charred in the right places. Â The sauce was great as was the aforementioned pepperoni. Â My dining partner ordered a garden salad with steak. Â I could have snatched his steak right off of his plate; it looked that good.
For dessert I had the caramel and sea salt gelato. Â One word: heaven. Â I've never tasted anything so delicious before and I've eaten a lot of gelato and ice cream in my life. Â Thank goodness I've not found this in the stores or I'd be 1,000 pounds.
For a Thursday evening the restaurant was fairly empty. Â I'm not certain why as my pizza was one of the best I've had in a while and I eat a lot of pizza. Â Our server was polite but she was surprisingly uninformed about the menu. Â We stumped her when we asked if the raspberry gelato contained dairy (my dining companion doesn't eat dairy). Â Even when she went back to the kitchen our question could not be answered. Â She also had checked on us almost a time too many; but, it's hard for faulting a server for checking on you too much.
I would absolutely make a return trip here, if only to order more pizza. Â The pizza isn't priced for take out as you'll pay close to $20.00 for a large; however, with the quality of it being so high, I don't mind paying this when I'm dining in. Â And anyone that has had to gag their way through a Pizza Hut pizza should appreciate that with pizza you sometimes get what you pay for.
We ended up here because Ron Jillian's is closed on Mondays.
The place is loud. The pizza is tasteless. We ordered a chicken pesto...the chicken was made days ago & what pesto??? The iced tea was past it's use by date....
The server was good. Cheerful & a good salesperson :)
I don't see us returning.
Pros:
1) We were greeted by a delightful young girl who looked like Emma Stone. Casey, our server was attentive and delightful. Even the bus girl was outstanding.
2) There are several excellent on tap beer selections including Throwback from North Hampton (excellent!!)
3) 99 cent Ice Tea's with free refills
4) For dessert you can cook s'mores over a fire at your table
Cons:
1) Baked Wings with dry rub were served without accompanying sauce. They lacked flavor besides the fat from the wing meat.
2) Pizza was less than mediocre. We ordered the Taco pie. Each bite was at least 80% dough and it was not exactly a dough recipe that would impress your Italian grandmother. There was hardly any meat and it was very dry. It really tasted like something your kid would make in her Easy Bake oven. Â I attached a photo in which you can see the lack of toppings.
3) Acoustics are terrible. Plan on yelling to have a conversation when the dining room is full.
We have so many pizzerias in the vicinity and I have no idea where the demand is for another one. I would drive down to Bratskellar, 180, or even Bella Rose before returning to Community Oven.
