Fun thematic building but the experience pretty much stops there.  Very average hot dogs with poor service, really long wait times and high pricing.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the food served here other than being over priced.  Of course, it's hard to screw up two hot dogs, chips and fountain drinks.  Though they serve other things, it's basically just a hot dog stand.  It's a long way from the best in the region...think Bender's Brats, Steve's Snappin' Dogs, or Biker Jim's, among others.  Heck, I've had better brats from carts outside big-box home improvement stores.  They serve the same stuff here you can buy at a grocery store and fix for yourself at home.

What gets them one star is agonizingly slow service.  Take a look at the photo gallery.  Lines like you see in numbers 7 and 11, based on our experience from two stops this summer, and and you have AT LEAST a one hour wait to just get your food.  Won't say we'll never stop here again, but not if there's even one person in line on the porch.

Tasty tasty. Very friendly staff. If you are not ready for a full size dog, go for the mini dog. I had the mini with brown mustard & kraut, all without guilt. We also ordered a side of onion rings, again just perfect crispy and not greasy. Go for the banana shake...the best, like a slice of banana cream pie.
