Knotty Pine Sports Center

Knotty Pine is like a place you'd see in Northern Exposure. Good for coffee, a bite to eat, or find a cool little gift for yourself or a kid. Nice candle selection. If you want souvenir Bailey wear, Knotty Pine has it. If you forgot a basic for your fishing or camping trip, check them out. When you walk in, you know there's history there. Really good soft serve ice cream too.

Walk through the lot & over to Bailey Garden & Gifts. They usually have interesting jewelry, artisan items & home decor to check out.

My brilliant family member who shall remain nameless forgot our fishing pole on the way up to Jefferson Lake, where we were going to FISH and camp.  Luckily we stopped at the hardware store and they redirected us to the Knotty Pine.  

The name alone really made me excited and the eclectic jumble of stuff they offer inside is even better. They have cheaper fishing poles, bait, worms, line, hunting jackets, sweaters, blankets, skillets, ginsu knives, hunting knives, walking sticks, souvenirs, fire wood, sandwiches and ice cream (and some other stuff that I can't remember).  The majority of the products they sell aren't the higher end products, but in a jam it's really a one-stop-shopping kind of place.  

The staff was extremely friendly and really informative about the area, they gave us great directions and some bear info.  :)  
Long story short we ended up leaving with the much needed fishing pole, some bait, worms, knives, and an olive green army jacket.

And be advised that they aren't open on Wednesdays !
