Cork Street Tavern

The worst service I have had in a long time.  45 minutes to get a salad and over an hour to get a burnt burger and fries that were colder than the plate.  The excuse is that "we are understaffed"...really!!!  It is a holiday weekend.  Their adjustment a $5.00 off bill.  90 minutes later left never to go back again.

We went here for lunch the other day and enjoyed it. We wanted to sit outside, and they have a very nice outdoor patio. We got the club sandwich with their homemade chips and the portabella sandwich with fries. The club sandwich was great. It came on thick slices of bread and the bacon was nice and crispy. The chips were barbecue flavor and were quite good. The portabella sandwich left something to be desired, however. There just wasn't much to it. The service was great, though - very friendly and attentive. Overall, this is a good place to go sit outside and have a casual bite.

I'm from NY and was passing thru, stopped here and had some great pub food.  The beer selection was good had my first Tavern Red, the place was not crowded, so the food, the service and the beer were great.  Had to come when I saw the "haunted part" of yelp reviews.  Nice place, friendly service and good pub food.  The civil war soldiers were off the night I went!
