Nice. Â Small and intimate. Â Caught live music one night, which was awesome. Â Delicious Italian wines. Â Great stemware. The seating at the bar is super comfy, if you can find a position where the lights above aren't glaring in your eyes. Â The overhead lighting is harsh, as is the lighting from the kitchen; it chips away at the ambiance. Â Would like to see more local wine and wine flights.
Review Source:Charming space with an excellent location. Â The wine that I had was West Coast (Washington) and crisp and delicious - a Sauvignon Blanc.
The only thing I would like to see are (1) flights, and (2) tasting pour sizes for a lower price. Â I think this is an excellent feature at a wine bar as it really gets people involved with and passionate about the wine...they can taste a few rather than just have one or two glasses. Â Oh, and I'd love more sparkling! Every day deserves a celebration!
I would recommend this wine bar for a date or girls night out.
I really want to love this place, but something's just not working for me. Â Pretty expensive wine list and not super local heavy, which is kind of weird to me. It's a funky space inside, but the patio is awesome - it's one of the only places downtown that has direct sunlight in the afternoon. I could really see splitting a bottle with some friends on that patio. The service took forever and was not great, the server kept serving other people before us and took a long time to get our order. Then, I put two 20's in the glass with the check (for a $28 bill) and she actually asked me if I wanted change. Um..yes? Overall, I'll be back to try the patio & some of the lunch fare and see if things have improved.
