Great dive bar! Place is pretty small, just darts no pool tables. Walls are covered with chino posters and pictures. Place is clean for being the bar that it is, but watch out place is a prank spot. Central during late hours has a lot of PD, so I would not recommend drinking and driving..
will be coming back
The Corner is absolutely the best watering hole around. I drive up from the O.C. to chill and have fun at this spot. The staff is great and the atmosphere is perfect for having a few drinks. The people are all friendly and the bloody mary's are the best. Love all the bartenders there, and have made a few good friends from this place as well. Small, dark, but rockin, and the peanuts are always flowing. A must if your in the area, check out the Corner!!!!
Review Source:GREAT BAR!!! GO! GO! GO!
I can't believe I've lived in Chino for 3 yrs and haven't hit this place earlier. This place rocks, no if, ands or buts. Very friendly and HOT bartenders. i highly recommend this bar to everybody. Juke box & darts round out the place for entertainment. Food is also served, but depends what time you go so call ahead. This place is a bit small, but it has that "Cheers" feeling to it (everyone knows your name!). No knuckleheads/douche bros to worry about here either which is a major thumbs up for me. Go in, order a drink or two or three, relax, listen to some music and just unwind. You might make some new friends while your at it...most people I ran into there were also friendly. Like Ah-nold said, "I'll be back"...
GO. DRINK. NOW.
I've only been here a few times but I've never been disappointed. This place is small, but cozy. Peanut shells on the floor. Juke box. TVs. The bartenders are very friendly and make you feel welcome even if you aren't a regular. Drinks are cheap and strong. This place is a dive, but it gets the job done if you just want a no-fuss place to drink and hang out.
Review Source:Maybe I'm biased because I worked here for 3 years, but one of my favorite places to go have a cocktail. The drinks are cheap, and strong. The service is like no other bar. You barely can finish a drink, before the girls are asking if you are ready for another.
The girls are great and Ed and Gale are the best! There are always parties for all occasions, to the Demolition Derby to the Kentucky Derby! Birthday parties, to baby showers! Random yes, but fun!!
My husband and I are regulars here and love the way everyone is when you walk in the door. It is just like cheers, where "everyone knows your name"
.., such a random spot for some random drunks. The only thing I dislike about this place is it's location. Central Ave.!!! If you're a local, you'd know why. Cops are usually in or around the vicinity, nothing to be worried about if you're an angel. But boozin it up may get you into some trouble when leaving here haha.
Small location, small parking lot, but good times all around. Check em' out!
It was our first time to try any dive bar ever, so we might be biased. Ah shucks... who cares... we LOVE this place~!
Everyone was so friendly. Kinda scared me a bit when we walked in; it was so dark... but then again it is a bar :)
Went in at 5pm to watch Lakers; place was pretty quite. Everyone knows everyone else. So that's cool.
The Bartender, Jenny, she's hilarious and totally friendly.
So I have no idea why the other reviewer would say the waitress had an attitude. Oh wellz, to each her own.
The owner was so nice; he came by to each patron to bid good bye for the night. I think that was a nice touch, more personal.
The bar is small and cozy. You can throw peanuts shells on the floor, that's a plus for my guy.
I'm not saying it's THE best bar in the so-cal, but it does give  out a comfy-familiar vibe when you walk in there.
Try the place out and check your attitude at the door.
This is one of the best dive bars in Sothern California. This place gets packed at noon during the week with Blue Collar Chino Residents. They are for the most part nice people. Don't go in there acting like a bad ass either. They will put you in your place verbally. Great place to start a night of drinking. If you stay late you run a very high chance of a DUI. If I'm not mistaken about 10 years or so ago a cop was hit and killed by a patron of this bar. So cops have a hard on for this place and they will sit on the oppisite corner waiting for people to leave. Little trick, park in the industrial complex across the street and walk into AM/PM that's next to it before leaving than scout the area well. Saying that never drink and drive. Never.
