They are now called Pra Nakorn and the food was GREAT! Â The three of us had dinner there and we cleaned the plates of all four dishes we ordered. Â Flavors were amazing. Â Service friendly, attentive, and prompt. Â Atmosphere is very pleasant. Â We went on a Friday night around 7:45 and were happy to get in as many of the other restaurants in town were booked until 8:30. Â If your a fan of Thai this is the place to go. Â The menu is extensive, varied, and has options for all. Â We will definitely be back. Â Don't be discouraged by the few negative reviews. Â Judge for yourself and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Review Source:My husband and I were among Jan and Ron's first customers and are still fans. I am new to yelp, so just catching up on the reviews.
A big suggestion for eating here: if you are an adventurous diner, forgo the menu and ask your server to tell Jan to make you whatever she thinks is best that day. You might even suggest that she fix you a "Babette and John" meal.
We never order off the menu, and have had a mediocre meal only once - Â when Jan was in Thailand and there was a substitute cook.
We have even persuaded other locals to try it again with us, if they are willing to forgo the menu, and they have been astonished at the difference. Neither Jan nor Ron are terribly proficient in English, so be patient, trust them to choose a great dinner for your party and enjoy a wonderful Thai experience.
One person I sent there with these instructions was a gentleman who studied coking in Thailand and he reported back that it was the best Thai meal he had ever eaten.
And one exception to the no menu rule would be the stuffed chicken wings....one of best dishes ever.
