Crave Restaurant & Bar

Excellant service and such a friendly staff. The drinks were nicely mixed and the flatbread pizza and fries were good too! Then we went to the club and danced the night away.  A classy place to go and have a wonderful time with friends or to take a date.

We have been driving by this place for months, vowing to go in and check it out.  Finally, this weekend, the bf took me here for our "date night".  I was skeptical at first because it was 7pm and the place was empty.  We walked in and sat in a booth immediately.  The bartender was also our waiter and did his best to recommend items on the menu after the bf tried to order his meal only to be told they didn't make what he wanted anymore.  After we gave him our order, we gave each other a look as if to say "uh-oh!".  But, how wrong we were to have any doubts!  My goodness, the food was AMAZING!  We are both pretty particular and have eaten at several a fine restaurant, but wow!  

By this time, the bar started filling up with the crowd coming in for the club.  Our appetizer came, the Parmesan Coated Steak Tips.  Amazing!!!  Then our dinner came.  I had ordered the Grilled Pork Chop with spinach and potatoes au gratin.  Good grief, it was DIVINE!  What is in those potatoes???  They were some kind of wonderful!  I had to force myself to stop eating it because I was full, but man, I could have eaten that all day!  The bf ordered Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad and he was equally impressed!  For dessert, a guy at the bar suggested the Strawberry Shortcake.  YUM!  

We took a peek into the club before we left, and the club bartender, London, came right over and struck up a great conversation with us.  Super friendly, totally cool guy.  As we were leaving the chef came out for a breather.  We then started talking to him and again, had a simply lovely conversation with him.   He was welcoming and fun, a total New Yorker with the name of David Cassidy!  No joke!  He told us his history and cooking influences and we were really impressed!

Seriously, try this place for a nice dinner out.  You will NOT be sorry!

Looks nice. big dance floor. But youll get raped on drink prices. 6oz long island, mainly ice $9.00. Id need 7 before i would even catch a buzz. Prolly wont go there again.
