Crocodile Restaurant & Bar

My boyfriend and I came here because we read such good Yelp reviews.

However, I would say overall, it's par for the course. We did enjoy the rosemary bread and olive oil spread that came before the meal. We also enjoyed the lightly battered calamari. However, my bf only rated his steak a 6/10. Although, it did not taste like butter as one Yelper said. I had the salmon and was pleased with the amount of vegetables that came along. We both tried the Man n' Cheese and while my bf liked it, I don't care for truffle oil so I wasn't that fond of it. I've had far better quality mac at other restaurants.

The Crocodile seems a notch above banquet food. Well presented, but lacking flavor. Random note- it's an older crowd.

This place consistently does a great job.  I live nearby so I love to walk over for the occasional burger.  I had the salmon the other night that was coated with parmesan and it was absolutely fantastic.  I switched in potatoes from the original side and it was no problem.  Their patio in summer is really nice as well.  I tend to do burgers here and it's always mellow and peaceful.  I appreciate the low noise level.  Some places have music that's too loud and this place is super clean and comfortable.  
They have sports on TV but it's not super loud so I really do appreciate that.  And I think they make their own hamburger buns which is above and beyond.  The chef does a lot of things that go the extra mile so I'm always impressed for what you pay.

Our third time at the crocodile and won't be our last! Began evening hoping for Los Agave but line was out the door and just didn't have the patience! Next stop..Harry's Plaza Cafe! We were told 44 min wait! Couldn't believe how invisible we felt so we said let's go to Lemon Tree where we know we'll get good food and service! We did! We were welcomed by a lovely waitress Nicole who is amazed as well how low key this place is! Truly amazing kitchen and food presentation! Rosemary chicken over garlic mash potatoes with grilled veggies! Absolutely delicious! My Bill ordered pecan crusted salmon! Looked like he licked the plate! Do not let looks deceive you go enjoy and tell them Debbie and Bill sent you! Heehee
