Food is good but I was shocked to find out my wine was $17/glass. It's NOT France

This place has one of the best craft beer selections on tap in the area; they even have Southern Tier Mocha Stout out of NY. Awesome.

The food could be better, but it's pretty good. We're fans of the half-price sushi and beer at happy hour, but in general, the sushi should be better prepared for the price they're asking, even for Seaside. Half-price would be more appropriate for the regular price of their regular sushi rolls, as the fish is always fresh but the rice is usually overcooked, mushy, and lacking the characteristic taste of rice vinegar.

The service has been on and off. In the times we have been, we wished they were friendlier and more attentive, and we have always had to apologize a little to any out-of-town guests that we bring for the bad service. The waiters should also be a little more knowledgable on the types of beers they're serving.

The outdoor seating is great, and they have heaters in the winter time.

This could be the best place to get sushi on 30a, but if it weren't for the atmosphere, Publix' sushi might have them beat. Here's hoping they improve the sushi as this place could be a great asset to the area.

We went back again and had a similar experience, just awesome.  I had the yellow-tail carpaccio, which was seriously one of the best sushi experiences I've had and I've been to the best restaurants in NY/ Philly/DC....this was up there too! Marissa, our favorite server, was on her game and was especially attentive to us.  Even in the busiest part of the season, the standards are in place and executed consistently.   We will of course be back again soon, thanks Crush!

Crush is a hit.  Sushi Chef Seamus rolls the best sushi on 30A! You have to try the Lana Roll!!!!

Loved it. Perfect rolls, all three done with just the exact amount of sriracha, no mayo. Excellent drink suggestions. We will be back ASAP.

Bad service and the sushi tasted like it had been sitting out for a while

~ Disclaimer. I didn't have sushi. ~ I came for lunch the crab sliders and some bubbles. The decor is spot on the price is very fair, same price as the shacks by the beach AND a real plate and knife and fork WITH cloth napkins.  I was happy..

I am absolutely SHOCKED by the crappy reviews of this place.  Our service was a little slow, but Seaside was packed full of spring breakers so I can understand why.

We sat outside under the tent covered patio.  I thought the menu items were priced appropriately very comparable to Seattle prices.

The Avocado Roll was delicious, perfect amount of bacon'y goodness.  Tuna crunch--I THINK SO!

When I'm back in Seaside visiting friends, I'll make sure we go back here!

Cosmopolitan, don't go in looking for "beach food.". Small but sufficient menu - reasonable serving sizes - very nice wine selection, including dessert wines by the glass etc.  ports etc by the glass.  A welcome respite from piles of fried or sauced fish.  Refreshing, and fairly priced.  Atmosphere and service are adequate.

Hit or miss sushi, but not a bad place to enjoy a reasonable meal in Seaside.

Nice little place in Seaside. The patio is heated and looks out over the village green. Service was beach casual (Our waiter was a little more interested in flirting with some gals than attending to customers.) The spider roll and Crazy roll were both overpowered by their seasonings, but our sashimi sampler was passable. The salmon was, in fact, outstanding. The bib lettuce salad was also delicious. For a wine bar, the by-the-glass wine selections left a little to be desired.

When we return to Seaside, I think we'll skip the sushi rolls and stick to the sashimi and tapas.

Maybe it's because I only come here during happy hour - where all drinks and sushi are half-price -  but I quite like this place.

Went in for a post dinner cocktail and the bartender ignored us for a good 15 minutes while she served beers from the tap directly in front of us and every other person at the bar which amounted to about 5 people was not impressed and they were not personable

Went here for appetizers and drinks on a Thursday.  Everywhere in seaside was packed so we went here.  Should have been the first hint.  We ordered a few drinks and began enjoying the evening sitting at the bar.  We were unaware of what wine based cocktails were so we tried to order shots of them to sample them.  The female bartender was extremely rude towards our request and even alluded to not getting them for the girls in our group because they were already getting a little tipsy.  Weak sauce lady.  We decided to leave at this point and skip appetizers because they atmosphere was lame at the bar because of this.  Not going back, wait the extra 20 min at seasides other great places instead of going here.

Gotta try the Special K sushi roll. Delicious! Get in early for happy hour as the wait for sushi can sometimes be long due to the 1/2 off prices. Can't beat this sushi deal anywhere else I've found.

Food was nothing special, kitchen was extremely slow and the management did little to make up for it. Server was excellent and wine selection was good.

For this price the food should have been better.  Even by Seaside standards, the value for food was not good.  We sat at the bar. The female bartender placed linen napkins for the place mats and I asked for another since it had food stains and was not clean. She actually said that I shouldn't worry about it and that it was only a placemat and wouldn't replace it.  The avocado and gorgonzola dip, should have been called guacamole and chips. Nothing special. Any sushi place I visit for the first time starts with a California roll. Why? Because if you can't get that right, you're not going to get the other, higher priced, stuff right either.  The roll was small, pieces slightly larger than the diameter of a quarter. It was tight, but the ingredients were room temperature to slightly warm (not good for this roll).  I shouldn't be able to get better sushi in Chicago's western suburbs than on the gulf. Definitely would not return.

Bad food. Decent service. Sushi sucks. Chicken satay was good but a little burnt.

We stopped by mid afternoon during the "Secret Season" snacking our way through Seaside over a couple of days.  Perfectly acceptable rolls, nice wine and a great view from the left corner table outside.  What was great...was the service, genuine, efficient and informative about Seaside.
So no other customers at that time of day and it worked out well for us

Great place to chill after work or on the weekend.  The atmosphere is very relaxing and they have super cool live music that sets the mood perfectly.  The tapas and wine selection is amazing!

My family owns a beach house in this area and we've been coming here for 15 years. It is always exciting when new restaurants open because the area isn't really all that commercial.  After hearing some very good things about the sushi, the husband and I tried this place on Sunday afternoon. The sushi and soup that we had were, in fact, very good. Like anywhere in Seaside, it ain't cheap. Which is fine when the service and food are above average but this place really didn't have it together on the service end at all. Our poor waiter was tending to a full patio, running food, filling water, busing tables. He even apologized for the crappy service because he recognized how awful it was.  There was an owner and/or manager inside doing nothing. Oh- well that's not exactly true- she was yelling at her employees within ear shot of customers. I am giving this place 3 stars because the food was excellent and the service would have been good had our waiter had any help but if they want to succeed in Seaside they will have to lower their prices or hire some management who are willing to get their hands dirty.

I have only been in twice for a drink, and it's a pretty nice bar.  The bartenders were friendly.  I know it's a wine bar, but they have some great beer on tap.
