Custer's Chateau

Custer's Chateau, also known as just plain "The Chateau," perhaps is best known for Taco Tuesdays, during which you can eat mediocre $1 tacos and drink $3 pitchers of beer.

Lima's underground regulars religiously attend Taco Tuesdays, mostly for the cheap beer and to catch up on the week. Tacos only are served until 10 p.m. Last call is early, and drafts generally are served in plastic pitchers and cups.

The parking lot is big and newly paved, and the atmosphere is very laid back.

If you ride a moped, a sweet hill on Cole Street can propel you to the Chateau at speeds upwards of 30 mph!
