While less showy than Buffalo Wild Wings, Ralphie's is my preferred sports bar in Lima. Sure,t he TVs are undersized and not always showing hard-to-get games. Sure, Ralphie's is on the outskirts of town. Sure, there are no DJs.
But the service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is safe and positive, and the Mini Mug Men are some of the cutest mascots I ever have seen.
Plus, the bar has a secret weapon: Ralphie Bread. It's pita bread stuffed with mozzarella and served with a marinara sauce for dipping. OUT OF THIS WORLD.
The fried provolone wedges are pretty good, too.
Thursday nights feature $1 12oz drafts and half-priced appetizers after 9 p.m. One down side: weeknights close at 12 a.m.
