First off my bartender was my waitress and let me know right away it was her first bartending job and may need help making a lemon drop. Most of the interesting items on the menu where " COMING SOON". The cup they show you get as a souvenier cup is not what you get unless you want to pay 18.00!!! Â The whole place was empty except for a couple at the pool table but we were the only ones sitting for dinner. The excuse is they are very new and only been there 3 months. I thought the food was mediocre and when my daughter ordered the alfredo sauce on her pasta it was not even available! No milk either so dont ask.
I dont care if they ever get the short ribs in......I will never go back. Save your money and go to Lynch's next door!
Mardi Gras celebration started at 4 - it's 6 and I ask for two frozen margaritas - bartender smiles and say "No Problem!" But she must have forgotten that there is a mirrored wall and gives the craziest face I've seen in a long while. I start drafting this review this is when I see her asking other co-workers for help. She didn't know where to find the blender (that's directly to the right or her) and worst the blender is not even plugged in?
While I wait for her to get started on the drinks, I see another bartender preparing some drink made in an over sized clam shell with a lot of cherries. I couldn't stop starring at her because all the time my bartender was looking for a blender this lady was ringing up the register and handling cash. Now I see her use her hands and a kid's size plastic cub to reach into the drink fountains to retrieve juice for the clam drink. I'm certain her hands hit the juice in the container because I saw her wipe her hands on her shorts. Just nasty.
Staff seemed short staff but remained friendly and calm but the lack of hygienic practices are a disservice.
Wasn't sure what to expect out of this place. The drinks were pretty good and, like a lot of others are saying, they are poured heavy. However, we went in there thinking it was just as much a restaurant as a bar... We were disappointed. Jo ordered "Da Big Kahuna burger" he enjoyed it, but he was really hungry. I ordered the Cheeseburger, hard to mess up. It was the greasiest, most off tasting burger. The fries are frozen and below average. The onion rings are typical bar onion rings. I wouldn't go here to eat again but will definitely return for drinks.
