Ten PM. Â The uplit DQ sign is a beacon on this island where no streetlights are allowed. Â The red roof tells you in its pointy way where you can find a familiar taste of heaven, just like kids of all ages have been doing here for more than fifty years. Â I go for the classic - soft serve cone, dipped in chocolate that hardens in a moment. Â You know it's the real deal when a chocolate piece falls onto your clothes and you don't notice. Â Or care.
Review Source:Definitely not worth going here. Â it's weird to see a dq in sanibel and we thought it would be just as good as any other dq. Â wrong! Â the soft ice cream almost had a sour taste to it and even the sprinkles tasted old. Â we didn't even finish the ice cream it was that heinous. Â there is another place on the island that has very good home made ice cream sanibel scoop - see other review of mine for this place. Â go there. Â do not go to the dq.
Review Source:In a town which outlaws chains you're probably thinking, wtf is a Dairy Queen doing there? Â Well, it was grand-fathered in when the law was enacted back in the 1970's.
This particular store gets an extra star from me cause on one hot day it saved me from the heat.
Oh, you might be wondering where the review really is ... well, it's a DQ, they're all the same basically - and therein lies at the heart of why I hate chains.
