Warm greeting. That's always a good thing. Sadly, that's the best part of the place.

Slow order taking. Slower food delivery. That's never a good thing for a bar that also serves food via sit down and eat. Medium busy at noon Friday and too pricy for what you get. That's always a shame.

Food very good overall for pub food and the sub was huge, but a bit on the cold side and cheese not really melted. That's really tragic considering how long I waited for it. More than likely, he sub just died in the pass.

And with that I would pass on eating here again, even if I am just passing through.

They call this a biker bar? I call it a bad joke. I would also venture to say that Mr. Daniel wouldn't be happy with what this has become. The powers that be are now more worried about who not to serve. The food has never been great. But it is was a good spot to hang out with friends. I sat on the porch with Dan several times, with a club shirt on talking about why he didnt allow "colors". But had no problem with tee shirts with club stuff on them. He was a reasonable man. But his wife and staff have twisted his words. All this place is now is a bar where some people with bikes come to get drunk and act like bikers on the weekends. The staff is disrespectful but it comes from an owner who acts that way so what do you expect?

Call it what you will, but a "Biker Bar" it is not.

This place is less than a mile from my cousins' so we've been here a few times. First, my 5- year old cousin loves the place, because they have RINGTOSS. He's the most competitive person I've ever known, and many times ringtoss has ended up being us adults leading little Max to the car so he can bawl his eyes out because he lost, but he eventually comes back out and starts playing again.

With family, it's fun. It's a family type place. Biker families, but still, bikers have families too. The good-- it's family owned, the bad-- it's family owned. A lot of people are regulars and family friends. The owners and their daughters and nieces sit in the screened in patio in the back (where there is dining, tv's and a bar) and smoke for hours and talk about babies, softball games, carpet, and whatever else small town families talk about. Everyone who works here is family, or a good friend of a family member, so it is super casual, and sometimes the servers tell you more than you need to know. The cook is this huge huge huge man that looks like a lumberjack. He is the owners nephew.

They don't have a lot of food for kids. Max, being 5, only likes Kraft macaroni and cheese, and he was savy enough to ask the server if they could make him some Kraft, but they said it was homemade. He was really sad and got lima beans instead, which he loved. Our server actually told my cousin that she purposely doesn't give her kids vegetables, because she doesn't want to deal with diapers, but commended Max for eating something green. It all explains so much. All the adults just kind of looked at each other like, "gosh, how do we respond?" but the server bounded away before it became an issue. Max also ordered an orange juice, but they didn't have orange juice, so the bartender came out with pineapple juice, and told Max he would love it. If looks could kill.

So, we are on the patio area, learning about why our server only gives her kids Hostess products (no poop), and having smoke blown into our eyes by the owners. How do you complain? Max asked why the bartender had green hair and orange neon hair, "is that NEON? Or just orange and green?.... It's his hair, right?"

The food was okay-- it's not fine dining, by any means, but it's better than Applebees. It fills a certain niche in the Elkridge area. I don't know that it would work in many other places.
