Small, but bright and open room with a couple TVs, 5 gambling machines, and a $2 a throw catch-your-own-lobster-and-we'll-cook-it-for-free tank. Limited bar stock and limited but decent beer selection. They have a full kitchen including the aforementioned lobster and prime rib and I plead guilty to not reading the menu. Apparently everything was under water here a little while back and they've just gotten the kitchen up and running again.
A mixture of faux brick and orange walls, an oak  bar with corrugated aluminum underneath, as well as the same aluminum for an awning over the bar give the place a different look. The floor is a mixture of tile and wood and the cieling is narrow plank wood that is something you rarely see.
Eric the bartender was a friendly guy and whjile not as outgoing, Vinny the owner chewed the fat with me and a couple regulars for the time I was in. Right across the road from the Milwaukee District North Line station and with a number of other places close by you might want to stop in. Open at 6:00 A.M. daily it's my kind of bar.

This place has gone downhill fast. Not worth it. Last two times I was there they were out of gyro.

Nice people and friendly.  Beef sandwich was good and a healthy portion. Clean place.  We'll go again.

My wife and I stopped in there Fri, Dec 16 for lunch. I ordered the gyro and a side of fries and my wife just a hot dog. My wife is fussy on her hot dogs but said theirs was really good. My gyro was great and a generous portion. I asked them to make my fries well done (at most places it doesn't do any good... they never done well) but they actually made them well done! I like them crisp and they were dark, golden brown and crisp. The place was clean, the workers were friendly and we'll go back. We've been hoping for a place like this to open nearby. I recommend this place.

This is the bar you need to come to in Fox Lake if you enjoy eating great food and drinks for a low cost.  Everyday is 2 dollar highlifes and busch.  Full liquor bar and they'll be sure to let you try one of their apple pie shots.  Great menu with some extraordinary items on there that will be sure to leave you sastified.  Food served till closing.  The gyro is really really good, done right.

The bar set up is a little weird as of right now but they are getting that fixed.  Open kitchen so you can view in as your food is cooked.  I beleive they have kareoke on the weekends.  Dart boards.  And they have a pinball machine in there that has tournament play.  Service is always prompt.  Clean bathrooms.

I'll be coming here as much as possible...
