Dc's River Walk Pub

Stopped in here after work recently. The place was completely empty. 1 person was at the bar so we saddled up and had a couple brews. No happy hour? :(

This place makes me sad. The crowd consists mostly of wasted 22 year olds in flip flops.  I get it, its a college bar, but, um, where is the college? Did y'all take a wrong turn on your way to the Field House in Iowa City?

The service isn't very good either.  The bartenders seem to be moving in slow motion.  Don't bother waving money at the bartender to get their attention, it won't work. I watched a few of the aforementioned 22 year olds try this technique and they were unsuccessful.  They had to wait their 10 minutes like everyone else.

This is a really cool place, everything in here is brick for the most part, and has a great feel to it. It is a lot bigger then it looks from the outside, there is plenty of room in here for a great night out at this bar! The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is good but it's just your typical bar food burgers, sandwiches, apps, soups and salads oh and they have one pasta dish, chicken Alfredo. There is the new Dublin City next door as well so you can jump back and forth from one another if you wanted.
They have quite a bit of Chicago Cubs stuff there mainly the little score board in the back, they have some games and a pool table in the back.
