Arrived about 6:30 on a Friday and sat at a booth.

We were there for beers & burgers (to eat there) and wings (50 for carryout).

We sat about 15 minutes then went to the bar and picked up a menu ourselves.
We never did  get served or acknowledged.  The place was almost empty.

When we left (still thirsty and hungry) we asked the bartender if they even had table service (no indications that they didn't).  She replied, "No, not really."  When we told her we'd been there quite a while with NO service she told us she hadn't noticed us--we were in the front, right across from the bar--don't know how she missed us!

I previously wrote a stellar review for DEAD Freddies, praising the burgers ad wings (once the best in Baltimore IMHO)  But, sadly, it seems Freddie's truly is DEAD now.

    I'm sooooo disappointed!

    New Ownership Alert!
In last week and discovered it was cleaner, repainted, and much more welcoming. There are new windows, double the taps, a much better beer selection, and they've replaced the almost-guaranteed-to-start-a-fight pool tables. The first thing I thought was that it will be much more appealing to female patrons - especially that the sexist and sometimes racist stickers no longer cover the bar mirrors. The menu is still getting re-vamped, but the wings, fries, and burgers are still rocking. The new owner was nice enough to chat us up, and I think there are positive things in store for this spot!

I have never eaten at Freddie's but I have socialized and drank on several occasions.

The atmosphere of the bar is superb. Dimly lit, typically good music, and several televisions but best of all are 2 affordable well maintained pool tables towards the back.

When short on ideas me and my girlfriend like to pop into DF for a cheap beer and a couple games of pool. I also like catching an O's game here where I can chat and watch the game

There is almost always an abundance of seating but a healthy crowd at Dead Freddies and the staff is attentive and friendly.

A great neighborhood hot spot in North East Bmore.
