This Denny's is so good! The best I've been to. Every time I come the food is cooked just right and fresh, I'm never disappointed. I always order the Grand Slam with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and white toast. I can't seem to get enough of the combination.
It also helps that the wait staff is incredibly patient. My friend has gone in their several times quite sauced and boisterous, but the staff just laughs and is completely tolerable. They are some of the sweetest servers I've met, and they do make the Denny's experience a whole lot better.
The only down side is the fact that they still have a smoker's section. The smell is apparent, and it does burn your nostrils. However, the disgustingness of the smoke balances out with the tastiness of the food.
I would recommend this place for anyone craving breakfast, because they certainly deliver.
Dennys is a culture all it's own. It attracts a group of regulars that range from teens to middle 20's and seems to be a favorite of hipsters and trendy wannabes in the wee hours of the morning. The regulars are typically entertaining because they all know one another and act friendly to each other but sit in small groups and gossip about how much of a "poser" everyone else in the place is. It's also fun to listen to the arguments about who comes to Dennys the most or who started coming first like it's some sort of honor. The food is barely edible but again I go here for the midnight coffee and "show". The place is always full of smoke and the smoking section has a ceiling that is always caving in do to water damage for some reason. The waitresses are always rude and seem to be annoyed that they are required to do their jobs. One time a waitress yelled at us for switching tables when she sat us at a booth and told us to switch tables if the rest of our party showed up. I really can't understand their attitudes since they typically complain within ear shot of not getting decent tips, I can't imagine why. Once we somehow ended up with a totally wonderful attentive waitress. I told the manager on my way out how great she was and how impressed I was because the service was typically terrible. I think he thought I was joking. Dennys, a culture to study and behold.
