Islamorada Fish Company

Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to eat here as of yet.  My issue has to deal with customer service.

Husband and I arrived at the restaurant, standing at Hostess Stand, waiting to be seated.  We then told the 2 ladies at the Hostess stand that we are going to do our shopping first, and then we'll be back to eat.  Did some shopping, and came back excited to eat lunch.  Once again, the same 2 ladies were at the front, and we asked to be seated.  

Now here is my issue.  The ladies then explained that it will be a 30 minute wait, and we are welcome to shop in the store in the while we wait.  Why would I go and do additional shopping, when I just came from there?  I asked why they didn't inform us when we came in prior that there was a wait, and why didn't' they put us on the list?  Amazingly, they had no answer.  I can understand if they just "suddenly" got busy, but they didn't even say that....We didn't have the additional 30 minutes to wait, and went to another place for lunch.

I am willing to give them another try, and see if the customer service has improved, and hopefully I can experience the food as well

Love the bar scene with the huge salt water tank for display. Their Alligator is delicious, I like for them to grill mine, its not on the menu so you got to ask other ways for them to cook it and their Mahi Mahi is damn good...

Enjoyed an evening of drinks and conversation at the bar watching the fish swim by.  Our service was fine - no complaints.  Haven't tried the food yet but like the ambiance and can't wait to sit outside in the nice weather.
