This place has obviously been around for a WHILE, yet the tables are still pretty nice. The place doesn't smell like smoke or stale booze-- which is impressive given that most everyone inside drinks and smokes. Ha.
I've been there several times now and I'm a fan. They keep the place clean, the pitchers are cheap, the tables are decently priced and they have a great selection on the jukebox!
Stop in some time. It's kid-friendly. There were some pre-teens in there with some serious skill. Ha. I need to practice!
I've been coming here for about 10 years off and on. Always have a good time. On occasion there's some punks hanging out but for the most part it's pretty chill. Nice staff and a good deal for the $. Some of the tables are getting sort of worn and the queues are not the greatest. (likely from people not treating them well) I personally prefer it on weeknights.
Review Source:I feel like every pool hall has a ridiculous story of some sort. Aren't people always getting shot at billiards? I'm pretty sure I remember an incident back at Hard Times from High School. And in LA K-Town it's always the billiards that have the gang shootings. I digress, Diamond is for some reason the closest place near Gold River so my friends were always here when we were younger. I don't personally play any kind of pool but I do love that they have shuffle board and darts here. Feels more like a dive than a billiards.
