One of the best bars you will find in this part of the Bronx. Â Become a regular and you will have instant friends. Â Once the folks recognize you it becomes like "Cheers"....you wanna go where everybody knows your name. Â Good drinks, friendly folks, mainly Yankee fans as you'd expect in the Bronx but they made a Mets fan like me feel comfortable! Â Good pool table, darts, and nice jukebox. Â Crowd changes over around mid-evening from the working folks and semi-retired to the college-age crowd. Â Both are nice to be around.
Review Source:I walked into this place a few months back. I once went there but my id wouldnt scan so they wouldnt serve me. Arrived there one saturday night and was warmly greeted by Anthony he served me a jack and coke. It was not watered down it was delicious.
I became a regular at this place for many reasons: clean bathroom, cheap strong drinks, free shots if you buy of course, awesome bartenders (Mary, Anthony and GEORGE love you!!!) Â and the crowd. This bar is the epitome of what a bar should be: bartenders that are cool and they know your name. Â GREAT PLACE!
Best dive bar in the Bronx. Â Not one of those wanna be dive bar joints but, the real deal. Â You could get shot in this place or maybe just your ass kicked. Â It all adds to the outlaw vibe. Â Keep your mouth shut and enjoy your pint at this joint and you'll get a glimpse into what the Bronx was like 25 years ago.
