We visited Dos Chiles Grandes mid-afternoon on Saturday. Â Service was good, however the food was not. Â I ordered the beef gorditas. Â I've had gorditas before but what I was served was incredibly dry, not to mention the tortilla had obviously been frozen and thawed. Â It broke in half when trying to eat it. Â Rice was good, beans not so much, tasted burnt. Â Others in our party had mediocre reviews, steak fajita salad was ok and Pancho Villa was ok. Â The bright spot was the chips and salsa, both were very good.
Review Source:Best Mexican food around! Wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable, well dressed and eager to please. Food is fantastic and comes out hot and fast. Tortillas and salsa are made from scratch, in-house. Don't see what you like on the menu? Ask! They can make anything you want, however you want. Full bar with beer, margaritas, etc. Flat screen in the main dinning area and two in the bar. If you are coming through Bridgeport and have Mexican food on your mind, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
