I always love food trucks, so needless to say I was excited when I saw this little place on the side of the road. But unfortunately, it was a disappointment.

I'll start with the good. The location is great and the prices aren't bad. The buns are toasted, which not enough hot dog places do.

Okay, time for the bad. The service was incredibly poor. There were four employees crammed into this tiny food truck, and it seemed from overhearing their conversations, that none of them could keep track of the relatively small amount of business that they had. This lead to an incredibly long waiting time. I ordered two hot dogs; the total wait was 15 minutes. Yes, 15 minutes for two hot dogs.

Okay, enough about service, how were the dogs? Well the chili sauce was just plain terrible. It had more tomatoes than meet and tasted like cheap hot sauce. The dogs, while cooked to my liking, were your standard Kayem dogs. I don't know why more hot dog places in Mass don't opt for natural casing dogs.

Overall, Dotta's wasn't terrible. I would definitely eat here over McDonalds, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Was looking for a snack when I passed this trailer in front of a warehouse right across from the pond. There are a couple of tables to sit out and enjoy your food.

If you are looking for gourmet dogs, don't bother stopping. They offer a pretty simple menu. If it's hot dogs you want, choose from chili or no chili. You may also choose from sausage, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and chicken tenders.

I chose a dog with mustard and onions. I sear they cooked the dog and the bun while I waited and I really didn't mind the few minutes of waiting. It was well worth it. For $1.65, I got one of the best hot dogs I've had in a while.

The ladies here were super nice and I can't wait to stop back.
