Droopy's Gyros & Beef

I had stopped going to Droopys several years ago due to substandard food and service, about a month ago a friend said I should try it again. I stopped that night and got a gyro wrap for wife and combo plat of gyro, beef, chicken greek style, it was pretty good. So we tried again this past Sunday evening, yuck gyro was chunks not sliced or browned, cold and just terrible, french fries cold and limp even after I asked for extra crispy. The counter person was indifferent, the cook obviously did not care what kind of food he was serving. Avoid this place at all cost.

I had carry out order. I had the falafel plate and the wife had the mild wings. Every thing was great. The service and the food were phenomenal. More food the was expected.

Absolutely the worst gyros in NE Illinois. They don't even have a gyro spit/ broiler. They re-heat the meat in a microwave. 100%un authentic. Would never go back.
