Dunphy's Tavern

Small and trashy (just the way I like it "wink") thus the nickname "the dump". Variety of shady characters lurk the bar. They pour a lot of liquor for your money which is good until the toothless prostitutes start surrounding you like vultures. Would've never gone there if I didn't have friends that went there. Smoking bar and that's a big negative for me. Second star because they pour well there.

I used to love this bar, if you're a pirate by heart you will fit in here. FYI it will leave you smokey, so be prepared to wash your hair, clothes, and your soul! Beware of old drunken pervs and tweakers lurking every corner. The bar tenders have a no nonsese attitude, which I love. The day and night crowd are literally night and day. The jukebox is a bit old but has some great classics, like Queen, AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Sheryl Crow, etc. Beware of "Free bird," and the country lovers.
Overall, I must say classy never looked this good in a dump like this.

I might have given it a third star but like Karla already said this place is small......and that's coming from a small person, lol!!!!

So this place is downtown right in the middle of the Vallejo Transit Bus Transfer station. Not really a bad location but a UBERLY small location! This place is about as big as my cubicle at work, its so scary! Well they do have a juke box, and I heard from a friend that they even do kareoke sometimes! I'm not sure where they would find the space for that but hey they are obviously still making good money so big ups to them!

Also those drinks were so so strong so if you like to get your moneys worth make sure you make it a point to stop here!!!
