Gentleman Jim's

If you're a true Vallejoan you've been to Gentleman Jims on more than one occasion.  It's a decent spot to get drunk at and play pool or dance.  Just wipe the pole with sanitizer before using it and you'll be alright.

This place has recently had some minor renovations, I've been coming here for years. My 2 favorite nights are Thursdays karaoke and Saturday night which is their busiest night, the bartender Chelsea keeps it snackin' nice atmosphere and all around good bartenders. I definitely recommend this place.

I've been to this divey, friendly, place a couple of time while visiting a friend who lives in town.

Minus: no beers on tap.

Plusses: *Very* reasonable drink prices. ($ 1.00 well drinks on Memorial Day weekend!), Good, friendly bartenders. A few decent top shelf liquors

Cash only. ATM on premises.

Quiet crowd when I was there, no fights. A 75 year old lady was celebrating her birthday.
