Amazing!!!! I have been to several Korean BBQ's, from Seattle to Melbourne, and I was surprised and ecstatic to find such a great place right in my backyard!

We went with another couple and started with sushi. We went for the Indy Maki and the Spider Roll, and neither disappointed.  From there, we did the Modeum Gui meal for $62. The meats were marinated to perfection.

What blew us away, however, was the service. The owner took care of us, and since it was a slower night he even came to our table to cook our meat for us, leaving us to enjoy conversation and food with our family. His attitude and personality was great, and he made some hilarious jokes throughout our time there.

Always glad to find a local business to support, and this one is now on our short list!  With E. Miracle and Thai Kitchen right next door, our southeast Asia food cravings are covered!

We went here initially because I had a dining card coupon.  I asked if they could make Soon Dubu Jigae vegetarian and they can! (/swoon) That is all I've had the 3 times we've gone.  I love the guy who always serves us...he's awesome and tolerates my bad Korean.  Banchan is always good, service, food, decor, all good.  They play more obscure Korean music than I know, still awesome!
I was going to skip this place due to some review I had read, but it's a favorite now!

The best sushi I've had in the Indy area. Very flexible. Great service. (Surprisingly) hidden gem.

    Go for the SUSHI!

    E. Miracle has the BEST super white tuna I've ever had.  It has a slight buttery flavor, is not overly fishy, and melts in your mouth.  I really like the tobiko (wasabi & roe) as well.  E. is the only place where it has some real wasabi kick.  Get the cold Korean sake.  You won't regret it.  It's light, refreshing and smooth.  My favorite rolls are the Mafia, Tuna Buddy and Mango.

Sean has been our waiter there almost every time and we have gone a lot!  He is a great waiter and funny, if you strike up conversation.  He does a really good job of helping sushi-shy people have a positive experience and can make some solid suggestions.

The atmosphere is a little quiet at times, but the sushi makes a lot of noise.  For an off menu delight, ask for the cold cucumber wrapped crab roll appetizer.

We frequent this restaurant with our son and they are always so welcoming and engaging. They have worked with us on orders for our 6 year old.  We've learned a lot about korean food and have loved the food every time we've been there. Love the Kimchi and other treats that come with the meal.

Good food and a great experience if you've never had Korean BBQ.  Not a great place for kids though since they do not have a kids menu, and my kids do not have the patience to use chopsticks to eat noodles.  Good time for the grown ups though, and the staff was very friendly.

Honestly, nasty.  If you're looking for the real Korean BBQ experience go to Mamma's House on Pendleton Pike.  At Mamma's the meats are fresh, the kimchi homemade AND delicious. It's not in a pretty area, but don't let that scare you off.  Mamma's is the real thing.  E. Miracle is disgusting.

I thought this place was awesome. The young man who waited on me was glad to make a recommendation on what to order to get the korean food experience. It was awesome. I will be definitely going back there.

This was a  overall solid experience.  I had a little smattering of sushi and a little Korean BBQ.  The fish was very fresh and very well executed.  The Grilled meats were very well prepared, well marinated and loaded with strong flavors.  I cannot speak to the service being anything other than good, but I was the only person in the place at the time.

I went here for lunch the other day and I had an overall great experience.  I ordered the beef bulgogi and the chicken bulgogi which came with miso soup and all the sides.  I thought it all tasted delicious.  Mama's Korean restaurant does come with more meat and food with your meal, but the quality of the meat is much higher here at E miracle.  I would definitely come here again.

We've been here a handful of times and every time it's been consistently good.  Yesterday was the first time we'd experienced the 'cook your own' BBQ and we had a blast doing it.  It was fantastic!  The meat was well seasoned and all of the vegetables were crisp.  The sushi was fresh and delicious, as well.   The salmon was especially good.  The staff is wonderful and they're excellent with children and babies.  They're also extremely accommodating.

We'll definitely continue going, continue recommending, and continue bringing friends and family here.

First cook ur own @ the table korean place i went to was in ontario and was the bomb. We'll see if indy can represent. Not too busy so concerned but it is Monday night.

Got the 4 person grill meal. Miso soup came out quick and hot. Good miso w lots of good bits.

Ordered a "japanese" sushi roll. Looks ok. Tastes ok. Crab with eel and masago. I'd go to sakura for sushi. unpleasantly warm, glad all the ingredients were cooked.

Cooked our meats. Seasoned well. I cooked them very nicely. Some sides were good esp the green onion salad. 100 bucks after tip. If it wasn't for entertaining a 4 yr old prob wouldn't come back.

Found a bug looked like maybe an ant in my salad as I was finishing. Ugh.

I was tore up today (day after).

Service was outstanding (as others have stated) - I felt like the servers were very willing & able to answer questions.
Both the sushi & the Korean dishes were good- we had some of both.
We used a 'living social' coupon - and everything went smoothly.

    Great place :)

This is a Korean owned place that is trying to survive by serving sushi.  The sushi here is not very traditional but if you like fusion sushi it is done well.

When you sit down you kind of have a choice between sitting in the Korean section (The side with the grills in the table) or just at a plain table.  The barbecue items are decent here but like just about any Korean restaurant... it tastes like Korean food. Sadly they don't use charcoal here and rely on gas fed grills.

The best part of this place is that it is in Westfield. So if you are on the far North-East Side you can actually get something ethnic.

The other quality that bumps this place up to a 4 star rating is the service. They really know how to do things right her and make you feel welcome. Many Korean places I have been seem very distant and unwilling to go the extra mile to share their culture. I even went here one year for my birthday and they made me a cake out of sushi.

Anyway if you want the best Korean food Mama's House is slightly better but if you are on the North Side and don't want to make the trek you will get 90% of the quality with 150% of the service here.

If you are looking for a traditional Korean/Japanese restaurant, then move along.  This is what I would call Asian fusion food and is all about presentation.  For instance, at traditional Korean places, the kimbop is made with bulgogi meat.  Here, it it is made with ham.  Also,  the kimchee jigae has rice noodles in it.  However, if you ask, they will make it more traditional.

The sushi here is probably on my top 5 list for Indy.   If you get one of the sushi boats, it literally comes on a boat!  From what I understand, the fish is flown in fresh daily, and the sushi chef is fantastic!  I love to watch him work at the bar.  He makes some rolls that I have not seen anywhere else.  Amazing and delicious!

The servers here are very friendly, and they work together to make sure you are well taken care of!  Don't be afraid to ask questions.  They are very knowledgeable about their foods and drinks!  They can explain all the different kinds of sake and whether it's best warm, cold or hot and make suggestions for food if you are completely lost.

The sushi was super-FRESH! And I don't mean that in California colloquial surfer-speak. I mean I had a fantastic rainbow roll that I'd put up against any neighborhood sushi joint I ever loved in L.A. Really keen to go back and try my fave benchmark (spider) roll.
Love the barley house tea too (free). Excellent stuff. If you're on the north side and like sushi, you absolutely must give it a try!

After living in the Metro-Atlanta area for 5 years and eating great sushi my son and I were about to give up on sushi in Indianapolis until we found E.Miracle.  Love E.Miracle for sushi.

I have eaten the beef bulgogi and it was nice. I have had better beef bulgogi, but this wasn't bad. We have not tried the Korean BBQ yet.

My son and I have been to E. Miracle a handful of times over the past couple of years and we always seem to have the same server. I believe he is the owner's son. He is always super friendly and remembers my son every time we go.

This place has wonderful sushi.  Honestly it's probably some of if not the best sushi I have had in Indy.  I also really like their Korean BBQ.  It is not as awesome as Mama's on Pendleton but it is still very good.

An exotic, stuffy atmosphere, E. Miracle is not. It's big, open and simple - perhaps to the point that you could say it could use a little something, a little oh, Je ne sais pas...just something. But on the other hand, what kind of sushi lover goes out for sushi and bypasses the sushi bar for the dining room? That's just crazy talk.

This was my second sushi experience at E. Miracle and I held my breath, wondering if it would be as good this time as I remembered it the first time. The answer? YES! I am really starting to love this place - it's sort of like the unknown underdog you visit periodically and go "this is really good - I wonder if they'll make it?" and then you ask yourself why YOU aren't coming here more often to contribute to the bottom line...Hmmmm I should think about that.

Anyway, the bottom line is this - I can't speak for the Korean part of the menu but I can tell you that this is likely the best sushi I've had in Indy in years! It's fresh - flown in daily and you can certainly validate that with a single bite. Sit at the bar - its fun to watch the the sushi chef create - watching him wield that knife only brings one word to mind and that would be "deft". You actually have a server at the bar who takes both your drink and food order - leaving the chef to focus solely on turning out beautiful rolls, nigiri and sashimi, sometimes in those funky "boats" for the bigger combination orders where he picks what you get (this is on tap for us on the next trip).

Don't be surprised if more than one server wisks by to ask you how your food is, get you another drink or bring you your check. They really work like a team here and it makes for a great experience.

Last thing you need to know - get the green tea ice cream for dessert. Two people can split one - its kinda funky if you aren't a green tea drinker (which I'm not) but its intriguing and its grows on you. In a few minutes its all gone and your palate is clean. Amen - I'll be back again soon.

Overpriced and not good is how I would describe E. Miracle in Fishers.

We paid $80 for our meal for 2 adults and 2 children. This included 3 entrees and 1 sushi appetizer. This was by far the most money we have EVER spent on a meal for the 4 of us and ironically the worst tasting :(. Some of the food we ordered was spicey hot, but bland, if you can imagine that. The other dishs were pickled. The drinks from the soda fountain tasted like bleach. This meal also left my husband with bad tasting indigestion later. Which I think was a combination  of the price we paid and the taste of the food. In addition, the service was very slow. Totally not what we expected.

When we pulled into the parking lot we had intended to go to our beloved Thai Smile 2, but decided to try E. Miracle instead. Let's just say always go with your first instict. If we had gone to Thai Smile 2 we would have saved $45, enjoyed our quickly served meal and would have had leftovers for lunch the next day.
I guess we paid the price to find out that we do not like Korean food.

2.5- I kinda blame myself for this rating.

Based on a few recommendations, my wife and went out here last week.  We had stopped by this place before, just to pick up a menu, and see what they had.  The place was huge and empty, this evening was pretty much the same.

AMBIENCE- As I said before, this place is huge.  As you walk in you can see a bar to the far wall, and two distinct dining sections.  One section has tables, and the other section is set up to do Korean bbq.  I'm not sure if you can actually do it there seeing as no one was seated in that section, but the server said you could, so there it is.  Oh yeah, they were playing the most dreadful music at this place.  It sounded like music from a movie soundtrack of a cheesy ninja movie.  What's worse is it kept repeating, over and over and over.

SERVICE- ok, I'm really torn here.  Our server was SUPER friendly.... when he was around.  After our drink order, it seemed like a good 5-7 minutes elapsed before our server reappeared.  And after our appetizer, it was another 10-15 minutes.  The kitchen seemed to be going pretty slow, so maybe that was part of it, but hey, we were one of 3 parties there.  It's not that hard to keep up.

MENU- The food here is both Japanese and Korean, though I'm sure there is a higher emphasis on Korean.  They have a mix of traditional appetizers, udons, katsus, and Korean bbqs, and sushi.  The sushi seems reaasonably price.  All rolls are in the $5-$10 range, which really isn't that bad.

FOOD- We decided to start with the scallion pancake.  It sure had scallion in it, that's for damn sure, and it was mostly egg, which was something new to the wife and I.  For $10 though, we probably should have ordered one of their specialty rolls.  They also bring you a bunch of side dishes with your meal ranging from spicy radish, to kimchee, and "meat of the mountain."

For dinner my wife got the tempura dinner, and I got the chicken katsu and a spicy scallop roll.  This is where I blame myself.  This food is pretty basic (read BORING), and I shouldn't expect any of this food to knock my socks off.  Sure enough, it didn't.  The spicy scallop roll was ok, but the katsu was pretty "meh" and I didn't think it was possible, but the tempura was actually bad.  It was bland and heavy.  How do you mess up tempura people????

Overall- Not that impressed.  Most of the food (with the exception of the sushi believe it or not) seemed overpriced, especially the appetizer.  I might go back just for sushi, but for anything else, I'd be less than tempted.  The search continues.

Thank you, Thank You, thanks to Robin P. I have found my new favorite sushi restaurant in Indy!

What a pleasure, sat at the sushi bar not knowing what to expect, ordered Regular Sushi, typical sushi, California Roll, Tuna, etc., all fine and fresh, then the guy sitting next to me at the bar, Ben and I struck up a conversation, then the real meal started.  It turns out he is a regular and he and the sushi chef are friends, In Kyu Hwang is from Sol, Korea and has been preparing sushi here is the US for 10 years. Try the different rolls, Kyu knows how to make over 200!

Went back again for a second dinner tonight and the meal was just as good if not better!  The fish is fresh, Kyu is a pleasure as is the waiter Brian.  My new favorite Indy restaurant!

LOVE this place! I would say that it is the best kept secret in town. I mostly come here for the sushi (which I think is the freshest/best quality in town) - but have also left happy after a Korean meal. The restaurant is very large (and is never quite populated) so it tends to feel very empty. The host is very gracious and the sushi chef is very friendly. White tuna nigiri is out of this world!
