This place is much better than the way over rated and bland Hacienda. The drinks are good and they don't cheat you on any of the sauce. The food is typical Mexican fare, but it's tasty and cheap. Isn't that what you want from a a Mexican joint? All the Mexican standards are there and the staff is friendly, if a bit slow. It's worth a trip when you've got a Mex craving.
Review Source:Ate dinner here with friends tonight. It was nice enough to sit in the outside patio area. The service was excellent and so were the margaritas. I ordered the Pork Verde which was super yummy and my hubby ordered the Enchilada Verde. He ate his enchiladas and then started to eat the pork off of my plate. Besides Don Pablos this is our fav place for Mexican food. We highly recommend it. So happy I ordered something different tonight. :)
Review Source:5 STARS an I am having trouble with the star system. This place is awesome. Â I went last night and had Carnitas. They were moist, flavorable along with delicious refried beans and rice. Â I went based on a recommendation from the Hampton Inn. The restaurant was clean and the server was pleasant. I will definitely return on my next business trip.
Review Source:I've been to El Arriero lots of times while living and working in Kokomo. It's probably the most serviceable Tex Mex place around, aside from the Mexican Grill. It's family owned and generally run well, plus they know how to use quality chorizo. You will be in and out quick with some good-to-delicious food. For something above average, I'd recommend anything with the queso con carne.
