Good Gawd how badly do I miss the Ranch. Â I miss watching the Cowboy Days Parade from the window while eating Durango Diner breakfast and enjoying a lil hair of the dog from the night before. Â To be sure, there can be crazy Friday or Saturday nights, but we don't talk about the club. Â The best part of El Rancho is the history, the heritage and the non judgmental morning club. Â Viva El Rancho Forever!!
Review Source:Me and my buddy ended up here all three nights we were in Durango. Â Not saying there aren't other cool bars in Durango, but this place is just a solid bar that doesn't need frills to attract clientele. Â Its little more spacious then most places in town. Â Also they play good music equally good crowd, and most importantly bartenders that know how to be bartenders. Â Friendly and efficient. Â I really look forward to my next Durango trip and El Rancho is a big reason.
Review Source:Best dive bar in town: $2.50 PBR, free wi-fi, and TVs showing live games or snow boarding shows. The bartenders are a good bunch of people, and the crowd is mostly regulars.
Since this place is a dive, don't be surprised if a fight breaks out, or water suddenly starts pouring from the ceiling. Beware your fancy frocks.
Place was very chill wtih 2 dollar PBR on tap and peanuts for free. You can throw the shells on the floor which I like...anyways, had fuse ball, pool.
This place seems like it has a rich tradition of bikers passing through, but then all of the Main St . in Durango did. It is still a really quaint little place that hotel wise was pretty pricey.
