Love the ranch as it known by locals! Free tacos on Tuesdays, always drink specials and great fun bartenders. Great place to unwind after work, mellow cool crowd, busy with a younger crowd and a great DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. Pool tables, decent size place with lots of tables so groups of friends can sit and hang out. Check it out, think you'll like it!
Review Source:The Ranch is a soild blue collar option after work for a beer and pool. Â Feel free to roll in with smelly coveralls or a wrinkled t-shirt because that's the vibe during that time.
Weekends can be busy at times with a high percentage of out of towners, mostly Stockton folks and people from the sticks (San Andreas???) . Â You say might see ghetto folk getting kicked out for pulling out a flask or their own bottle and re-filling their own drink. Â Needless to say, Stockton folks can be rather undesirable but okay for the occasional ego boost.
Hip hop is played on weekend nights. Â Karaoke on Thurs, I believe, with a cool KJ whose meager list is supplemented by his ability to pull anything from the internet. Â
I once noticed a random consume a whole pitcher of beer before attempting to pick a fight with me.  His whole, "I know you.  You were in the van on Church street," explanation on why he had issue with me was  confusing, to say the least.  After he could see I wasn't buying the crazy juice he was selling, he moved on to another target.  He ended up pushing a women sitting at the bar and getting his ass handed to him by a burly regular much to my amusement.
Like I said, the Ranch is a solid blue collar option most of the time.
