I really hate coming to Mojo's. The problem is that Lodi just lacks a good bar for youngsters and this is the closest thing offered. First of all, it's probably the loudest bar in America. I can't remember the last time I had a clear conversation there. Secondly, it's in, what looks like a crappy neighbourhood. It's literally right in between another run down, dumpy bar and an auto parts store. I can't wait until Lodi decides to clean up Sacramento Street and hopefully the new museum going in will help remedy that.
Review Source:I freaking hate Mojo's! Where do they think they are- Las Vegas? Hollywood? NYC?
NO- You are in Lodi! Don't charge a $10 cover! Don't try to "enforce dress code." Don't have a bunch of bouncers out in the front making it seem like there's some pecking order of who gets in and who doesn't.
Once you get in, it's not that much fun. It just sucks. The dance floor is really small, not much room to sit. The bartenders are not attentive.
I've never paid to get it. I refuse. It's a principle thing. I'd rather walk on over to Ollie's. Â
I agree that when Mojo's first opened, it was a cool place to go. Now, it seems like the demographic has changed and it's really fake. Do these people actually think they are cool b/c they got all dolled up to pay $10 and stand there just to get a drink knocked in their lap b/c it's so crowded? Give me a break!
