Well it took almost 3 years since I jinxed this place and I just found out they closed last November! Ahhhh vengence...

Anyways, they're reopening as a dance club I believe. Good luck on Sacramento Street...

I really hate coming to Mojo's. The problem is that Lodi just lacks a good bar for youngsters and this is the closest thing offered. First of all, it's probably the loudest bar in America. I can't remember the last time I had a clear conversation there. Secondly, it's in, what looks like a crappy neighbourhood. It's literally right in between another run down, dumpy bar and an auto parts store. I can't wait until Lodi decides to clean up Sacramento Street and hopefully the new museum going in will help remedy that.

I freaking hate Mojo's! Where do they think they are- Las Vegas? Hollywood? NYC?

NO- You are in Lodi! Don't charge a $10 cover! Don't try to "enforce dress code." Don't have a bunch of bouncers out in the front making it seem like there's some pecking order of who gets in and who doesn't.

Once you get in, it's not that much fun. It just sucks. The dance floor is really small, not much room to sit. The bartenders are not attentive.

I've never paid to get it. I refuse. It's a principle thing. I'd rather walk on over to Ollie's.

I agree that when Mojo's first opened, it was a cool place to go. Now, it seems like the demographic has changed and it's really fake. Do these people actually think they are cool b/c they got all dolled up to pay $10 and stand there just to get a drink knocked in their lap b/c it's so crowded? Give me a break!

This place was great when it opened, but it's gone downhill. I like that they have dresscode, but they also charge a $10 cover (for a Lodi bar!!!). At it's best, it wasn't even worth a $5 cover. The bouncers are jerks, but if you know them you get to cut-in line and go in without paying. It's next to impossible to get a drink from the bartenders, so they must be trying to make their money on the cover charge.

The DJs are horrible and frequently have technical problems. I also once heard one play Garth Brooks followed by Usher followed by some 80s R&B song. Pick a genre and play some club-type music!

The patrons are mostly from out-of-town and while the dresscode keeps out the gangstas, they are very edgy. They've had a couple of brutal fights there too.

Don't waste your trip to Lodi to come here. If you live in Lodi, there are other bars that will show you a better time.

$10 cover for a "club" in Lodi?

Uhm, these people are lucky I was a black out drunk and wanted to bust a move. Get my thizz on. Get all Hyphy on your ass.

A good time was had - but I doubt I'll ever return.
