El Sombrerito

Visiting the area and looking for something tasty. Stopped here since it was close by and was pleased by the selection and friendliness. I didn't see chile verses on the menu but they made it for me. The place was clean and decor was fun. I recommend El Sombrerito.

This place changed owners recently...It used to be disgusting (bug in your rice disgusting) BUT NOW it's GREAT! It's now more authentic Mexican food. It is deliciously cheesy and yummy. Fast & good service. YUM!

I love this place.
My 5 year old son loves it so much that we have to order adult-sized platters for him.
My husband and I have been fans of this place since high school.  We have had many many dates here (when it was located on Pioneer Parkway).  We were so happy when they reopened!
It's a small place, and is usually pretty busy.  The chips/salsa are complimentary and tasty.  I highly recommend the ground beef and cheese burrito, but my favorite is the ground beef/cheese quesadilla.  

My only minor complaint about this restaurant is the water.  I order water with meals most of the time.  I am wondering if this store's water is well water, because I have had a few occasions that the water smelled.  I couldn't drink it.
