Cyd's Gourmet Kitchen, Cafe & Catering

Fantastic! The burgers are great and so are the baked goods. It's a little pricey but this is truly one of those places where you get high quality food for a little bit more. They usually have nice beers as well. The interior is awesome, and my only complaint is that they aren't open very late. A hidden gem!

Good place for brunch. Good for families, couples, hanging out. Toasted Ham&Brie, Taste of Spain Ciabatta, sweet potato fries were really good. Interesting use of mason jars as water glasses. I'll be coming back to try more of their menu.

I met a fancy friend here for lunch last week, at her recommendation.  Loved it- reminded me of the casual, upscale places that cater to "ladies that lunch" that I occasionally frequented in Atlanta.

The decor was a mix of industrial and home-y, with some upholstered seating next to tables/chairs taking a cue from Ikea.  Lots of gift-y items around the restaurant- baby clothes, aprons, soaps and candles, artisan pottery, fancy chocolates.  Although the menu was a little vague, my "chicken sandwich on cibatta" was very unique, including pesto and sliced green apples, served by Ms. Cyd herself. The sweet potato fries were fresh and crispy, making me and my daughter happy.  

We just had time for a quick meal, so I can't comment on too many dishes...but I absolutely plan to return, even just for the coffee bar and amazing-looking bakery section (think homemade pop tarts, seasonal rice krispie treats, scones, breads, muffins, biscotti...) My friend went on and on about some weekly specials she had in the past, as well as an amazing wedding and Mother's Day meal. Definitely my new place to meet a friend for lunch!
