Note: this review applies to both Peoria locations, which I find interchangeable.
You know the saying about pizza and sex, right? Well, BS. Bad pizza is bad, and I won't have it. Thus, I'm pretty reluctant to order pizza in a restaurant, and a chain? Yikes, I dunno.
But this place is good. The crust isn't quite as crisp or thin as I like, but it's got a wonderful flavor. The variety and quality of toppings is really excellent, and they've got a wonderful selection of signature pizzas, including a couple very tasty veggie ones (hurray!). They are heavy, heavy, heavy on the cheese, to the point where I really think it detracts from the pizza, but when I ordered light on the cheese, it came out absolutely perfect. When I leave Nick N Willys, I really feel satisfied with the meal I just had. It's good stuff.
The prices are pretty high here, which I think is actually totally justified by the care they take with the pizzas and the great toppings, but by all means, seek out some of the awesome coupons available to score a great price. We got a large signature pizza for ten bucks on Sunday - a serious deal.
