Electric Cowboy

Not the best nightclub in Fort Worth. Country for sure, and people come here all the time for booty calls. Ref reason why nick name is electric moo.

Walking in you will have to show your ID at the door. There is a cover on many nights but Thursday is ladies free. They have that old honkey tonk layout with the dance floor in the middle and bars around the edge of one big room.

Good mix of old and new country then every once in a while they throw you for a loop with the Electric Slide or hip hop music. Decent drink prices during the week. Mostly 30+ crowd but the 20-something's really grind on each other during those hip hop songs. I wouldn't say it's a nice place to meet someone new but if you already have someone to dance with or don't mind dancing with random older people it's ok. The place is a little run down and you will hear the same song three times in the same night so only 2 stars.

PS: I am not biased to say this is a good or bad thing, just an observation: A LOT of lesbians

This place used to be FANTASTIC and a jewel of Cowtown before the Corporate Sanitation.  Now drinks are $4.25 and watered down-best thing is $0.89 bottle beer from 7-9pm.  Country music is 3 songs after 5-6 dance club songs, and then it's usually a line dance-there's no country left in this bar.  This is a dance club.  The music is outdated POP country (not what's on the radio, but not the good stuff either)--you will hear the same 3-4 songs about 3-4X if you stay for very long.  There is a gambling element at the pool tables that used to never exist.  I was offered drugs at the bar by a very large black gentlemen.  Many of the bartenders clearly have never worked in bars before, are slow as molasses and have to ask for help on anything more complicated than a Rum and Coke.   What used to be the Best Country Bar in Fort Worth, has now become a shell of it's former self... becoming a home to illegal gambling, drugs, and inappropriate clientele.  Save your time and money, even $0.89 bottle beer cannot save this place!  ONE STAR because I cannot give them anything less on this rating system!
