  This is outstanding. A coffee shop in Biddeford that you would love to meet up at with your friends, spend hours reading a book or surfing the internet. Excellent coffee slow poured or the brew of the day.
  
  I don't want to sound too surprised but I am. Even the inside feels like a cafe that you just want to hang out at. The lighting, the exposed brick, the newspaper countertop, the rows of books, the wood floors. You just want to hang out.
  
  The staff were really friendly and helped me pick out a brew that fit my taste. I haven't been here for wine or beer yet. So, I can't comment on that.
  
  However, for every bit of amazingness this place is there is just as much potential to work towards.

  A great place on Main Street in Biddeford. Coffee, books, beer/wine. This place has quickly become a much-needed community gathering spot. Lovely ambience, nice staff, chill atmosphere. Great selection of books. Coffee is excellent. Could offer a little bit more diverse menu and breakfast-y options but give 'em time. Meat/cheese/fruit/hummus plates are big enough to share. Only open about a month so they are off to a great start. Small selection of wines, could expand to maybe 4 choices for red/white but the ones they have are good. I give them a 5 in anticipation that any kinks will get worked out because the owner is wicked-smaht!

  Elements is off to a good start.  According to their facebook page, Elements is a book store and a coffee shop during the day, and at night it's going to be a tap room and event space.  They're only open until 6PM so I think they're still working on the tap room part.  In any case, the coffee is good and strong, the books look exactly like the ones that I'm likely to be reading at home, and the people are friendly and efficient.  In other words, I think it's awesome.
  
  The only reason I'm giving it four stars and not five is because I've been in only once and I want to see if they're consistent.  There are a ton of new businesses starting in Biddeford and a downtown coffee shop / bookstore is fantastic.  It's also located right next to Engine, which is an art gallery and also an event space.  I anticipate a number of interesting things happening here and I hope to be a part of them.
