Eve's Cafe

Eve's cafe is the best little Lampasas has to offer. The food, drink, and service were great. If you're passing through, defiantly stop in for lunch. Get a schnitzel. I recommend one covered in gravy.

First time visit to Eve's. Have never eaten German cuisine until now. Upon recommendation my wife and I tried the Jager Schnitzel and were surprised at both the quality and quantity of food. The Spaetzle noodles were superb. Overall everything was served with excellence, with a slight indifferent attitude as to suggestions for first-time customers. Not all of us are locals.

Visited Eve's Cafe last week and wanted to post a short update.  The food is still as good as ever, but the dining room has been repainted and generally brightened up. This most recent visit also reminded me one of my favorite things here is the home-made German salad dressing.  I've tried unsuccessfully to duplicate it, and the owner just chuckles when I ask about his recipe!  Keeps me coming back!
