I work out in Riverside a few times a week. Our 100 acre yard is in a rural, industrial part of town. This Farmer Boys location is the closest thing to our office.
The food on the other hand is okay at best..
I could of swore my kidney stone came back after digesting a breakfast burrito. It was like a someone spilled salt on it. Â It wasn't worth the purchase. Chopped up bits and pieces of bacon instead of crispy bacon inside. Was disappointed.
Other than that, the burgers are just burgers, though they claim they're hormone free.
I noticed some of their calorie calcs are a bit off. They had a bacon chili cheese burger with less calories than a chili burger. Someone needs to do some checking.
The only good thing on their menu is their grilled chicken sandwiches.
The ladies who work here are nice and friendly with a big huge smile every time. Â +1 star.
I've been coming to this location for years now. I've been a fan of their club sandwich since day one. I still believe its one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. And I've had plenty of from different places. Breakfast is good too. And their Farmer burger is huge and delicious!!
ONLY thing that irritates me is the price on the wall doesnt include the fries or drink. Â So when you add those one, you are looking at around 12-13 bucks.
Had their susage and egg "go bowl". Â The gravy was good, but could have used more seasoning. Â The biscuit was soft, but slightly burnt on the bottom. Â I gave 4 stars instead if three since their service is great, the place is very clean and hey, I did order breakfast at 3:00 in the afternoon. Â If you haven't tried their farmers burger, it is a must have. Â It is dripping with grease and special sauce with a nice helping of guacamole. Â Their zucchini is crispy and fresh. Â You will pay a premium and have to wait longer than most fast food places, but it's worth it.
Review Source:If you live in LA, or Orange counties you may have not ever heard of Farmer Boys. Farmer Boys is a chain of fast food joints out in the Riverside, San Berdoo area, the so called Inland Empire. When it comes to QSRs, this empire certainly strikes back. Â They are good. Almost In-and-Out good. The exception is that they make more things than just burgers. A whole lot of other things. The menu is pretty extensive, the quality is pretty good and the prices are not too bad. Man can-not live on Double-Doubles alone, it takes a good Club or fish sandwich or a nice salad occasionally to round things out and keep the taste buds in balance.
If I could figure out how to award four and a half stars, I certainly would.
Came here with a coworker one day for lunch. Â If you go during lunch hour, it will be pretty loud and full of old people on their lunchbreak. Â The service was good and the people here are really nice. Â I ordered the kids fish meal. Â I like how if they see that you're an adult ordering a kids meal, they ask you if you want a regular sized cup instead of the dinky kids cup.. how considerate. Anyways, the fish was delivered to me on a plate of fries and a little heaping cup of heart attack sauce (tartar sauce) on the side. Â The fish was greasy but tasty and so were the fries. Â I wouldn't mind coming back again.
Review Source:I was very hungry on a very hot early Monday morning, and there just happen to be a Farmer Boys there. My GF has mentioned it a few times before and I was a little curious so I gave it a shot.
It was a good solid breakfast (the ham breakfast burrito) it wasn't the biggest thing ever, and the burrito wasn't the boldest thing ever, but you know what... when you're bloody hungry, and need something to eat, Farmer Boys will do it for you. Especially since the people here were super nice and tailor their service to strung out truckers looking for a good meal.
If you are from San Diego and you're able to escape from the franchise hamburger joints (Mickey D's, Burger King, Jack-in-the-box, Wendy's) and declare In-N-Out as the best eatery then you are missing out.
All over Los Angeles and Riverside County you can find better burger joints then you can wave a crispy Mc Donald's french fry at. There are so many independent places that I recommend anyone try when out here.
This place is right off the I-10 freeway in a button ranch town, Bloomington. The decor inside reminds you of an old style American eatery. Nice and clean. Â It is typcial Americana. Â The employees are very nice and some are in training since this place is fairly new?
Try the Double Cheeseburger Avocado Bacon with big fat onion rings. Dip them in ranch and you'll swear these are the bomb! I wouldn't bother reading the calorie count because the food here is definitely fattening, but that is what a cheeseburger is all about!
The chili fries are excellent with onions on top. Take the next step and eat your meal with hot yellow peppers. Â You will not find anything like this is all of San Diego county!
Anyhow, they look like they have a killer breakfast but I go here for "extra butt platter" with a large Diet Cola please!
